MS. CORA MAE ALLEN
A Celebration of Life Service for Cora Mae Allen of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, will be held on Saturday, March 2,2019,at2p.m.,atACOJThe Lord’s House, 2708 East Os- borne Ave., Pastor Torrell Lee, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cora Mae Allen, 53, went on to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 13, 2019. She was a native of Tampa FL. Born on May 24, 1965 and raised in Greenridge, Clair Mel City, Cora was a graduate of Tampa Bay Tech H. S. She was passionate in doing hair and became a li- censed cosmetologist, servicing clients at multiple salons.
She was a compassionate, faithful woman of God who loved her church family at ACOJ The Lord’s House Ministries, and her hobbies included cook- ing and writing poetry. She was faithful in giving and nurturing others, as well as loving family and friends around her. Cora was a beautiful daughter, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother to her new grandson Vito, with whom she had an exceptional bond.
Cora is survived by: loving daughters, Lo’Reue Allen, and Debrena Brooks (husband, Leslie B., II) and grandson, Vito B.; parents, Deborah and Ver- non Pearson, Sr.; four brothers, Franklin Johnson, Jr., Robert Wood, Christopher Daniels, and Vernon Pearson, Jr. (wife, Roslyn P.); uncles and aunts, Dennit Archie, Joseph Archie (wife, Dee A.), Monia Mitchell and Mary Clark; as well as a host of many nephews, nieces, cousins, dearest friends, Euerol Allen, Latonya and Ada, and many more friends.
The viewing service will be held at ACOJ The Lord’s House on Friday, March 1, 2019, from 5to7p.m.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service at 1:45 p. m.

MOTHER JUANITA COOPER JOHNSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Juanita Cooper John- son of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, will be held Saturday, March 2nd, 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. S. Evan Burrows, pastor, Rev. Christopher Jarnegan, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Juanita Cooper John- son was born August 18, 1931 to the late Charlie and Essie Cooper in Savannah, GA, as the youngest of four siblings. Mrs. Johnson was the mother of two young men: Alan Cooper of Boca Raton, Florida, and Windell Roberson of Tampa, Florida.
After the passing of her mother, Mrs. Johnson moved with her aunt, Anna Cooper, to Miami, Florida. It was there she matriculated through Dade County public schools and found her passion for dance. Mrs. Johnson followed her dreams of being a professional dancer, spending many years dancing for African American artists on the “Chitlin’ Circuit.” One of her fondest memories was dancing on tour with “Little Richard.”
Mrs. Johnson accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior as a young adult and committed her life to his service. Maturing, she decided to put her dancing
shoes down to help others. Mrs. Johnson became a home health aide, helping the elderly and handicapped. She found joy in helping other people feel better.
After the death of her hus- band, Hilliard Duplechain in San Diego, California, Mrs. Johnson, relocated to Key West, Florida. It was there she became a Mother in the Church of God in Christ, spending many days evangelizing and counseling parishioners and community members in need.
After a second retirement in 2002, Mrs. Johnson relocated to Tampa. She quickly became a member of The First Baptist Church of College Hill, under Pastor Abraham Brown. She was accepted as one of the Moth- ers of the church, a title she held dearly. Through this new role came great relationships, signif- icantly with Mother Elizabeth Wynn, with whom she would have morning prayer, daily at 5 a. m.
Mrs. Johnson hobbies in- cluded sewing, collecting ce- ramic angels and finding the diamond in the rough at thrift shops across the area.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by: her husband, Luther Johnson; parents, Char- lie and Essie Cooper; brothers, Prather Cooper, Lester Cooper and Jessie Cooper.
She leaves to cherish memo- ries of her life with: her sons, Alan Cooper of Boca Raton, and Windell Roberson of Tampa; grandson, Kory (Xonjenise) Roberson of Odessa, Texas; great-grandchildren, J’racin Roberson, King Roberson and Kijion Roberson, all of Odessa, Texas; devoted cousin and god- daughter, Lois Albury Williams; nieces, Edith Lane and Jackie Williams; and a host of friends and loved ones.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March1st from5to7p.m.The family will receive friends from 5to6p.m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MRS. KATHRYN BOULER EVANS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Kathryn Bouler Evans of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019, 2:30 p. m., at Mt. Olive M. B. Church, 4008 E. Cayuga Street, Pastor Michael V. White, officiat- ing, Pastor Randy Randolph, eu- logist. The interment will be Monday, March 4, 2019, at Florida National Cemetery, Bush- nell, FL.
Kathryn “Kat” Edith Bouler Evans was born in Davenport, Florida on July 19, 1932, to the late Julius and Edith Bouler. Kathryn made her transition from this life on Friday, February 22, 2019.
Kathryn was a faithful mem- ber of Mt. Olive Missionary Bap- tist Church for many years. She accepted Christ at a very young age. She was a member of the choir until her health started to fail. She loved to sing for she had a beautiful voice and she contin- ued to profess the goodness of Jesus to everyone she came in contact with. She loved God with all of her heart.
Kathryn was known for her beautiful smile, her hugs and her kisses. Family was the very soul of Kathryn. She loved her family, friends and her church family.
Kathryn was preceded in death by: her son, Donald Eugene “Donnie” Philmore; her sisters, Alma Newsome, Barbara Ran- dolph, Cecelia Butts, Helen Gilbert, Rubye Harris and Juanita Davis; her brothers, Clyde and Julius Bouler.
Kathryn leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of many years, Mr. John Earl Evans; sons, Sammy Philmore, Jr. and Rudolph “Rudy” Philmore (Vi- vian); one daughter and care- taker, Mary “Kitty” Martin; one daughter-in-law, Erasie Philmore; brothers-in-law, Arthur Randolph and Edell Butts; a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors and her Mt. Olive Church family.
The visitation will be held at Mt. Olive M. B. Church on Friday, March 1, from 5-8 p. m.

MRS. CEOLA HOLLOMAN NUNEZ
Homegoing Services for Mrs. Ceola Holloman Nunez, who passed away Saturday, Feb- ruary 15, 2019, will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, at 11 a. m. at First Missionary Baptist Church of Seffner, 6720 County Line Rd, 579, Seffner, FL 33584, with Pastor Nathaniel Love, of- ficiating. The interment will fol- low the service.
Mrs. Ceola Holloman Nunez was a native of Sylvester, GA. She was born on January 16, 1949 to beloved parents, TJ and Leathe Holloman. She later moved to Tampa, FL in 1962. She was a graduate of Brandon High School.
She retired after working more than 35 years with the Hillsborough County School System. She loved fishing, Word Search and taking care of her children. Sister Nunez was a faithful member of First Mis- sionary Baptist Church and served until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by: her sisters, Dorothy Craw- ford and Mary Hazel McCall; brothers, William and TJ Hollo- man, Jr.
Sister Nunez answered her Master’s call and bid us farewell on February 15, 2019. She leaves to cherish her legacy with her husband, Wilfredo Nunez; her children, Yolanda Larry, Ka- trice (Stephen) Jenkins, Willie Cobbert (Kanisha) and Cassan- dra Cobbert (Nykeatia); her twelve grandchildren, Marcus (Christina) Jackson, Melnisha Screen, Mekelia Screen, NaK- isha Dantley, LaBricia Screen, Brian Lockett, Jr., Shanice Cob- bert, Shai Cobbert, Saquioa Mouton, Savyon Mouton, Ceola Cobbert and Catherine Cobbert; her five great- grandchildren, Daniyla Washington, Xavier Hamilton, Jr., Xya Hamilton, Tavaris Velazquez III, and Xam- iah Hamilton; her brother, Nel- son (Marazine) Holloman; three sisters, Francis Hill of Al- bany, GA, Bertha Anderson Hol- loman and Christine Holloman, all of Tampa; sister-in-law, Dol- lie Mae Holloman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
