    A Better Version Of You
“Becoming a better version of you, doesn't just involve change, it in- volves growth.”

mpowered Greet-
ings. There is always a better version of you that is waiting to be discovered by you and revealed to world. That's not to say that the per- son you are right now isn't good or even great. However, there is always a more in- depth translation of the per- son you were created to be, longing to be developed.
Internally speaking, the better version of you is some- thing you must desire for yourself before it shows up externally. There is consider- able power in having a strong urge to do more, be more or experience more out of life. That craving will give you a
yearning for ways to improve you; causing you to pull your- self up from obscurity to no- toriety and to be extremely successful in life.
Here's the kicker, you must choose to create a life of esteem that others will look upon with respect. Make up in your mind and decide that you are the MVP. You are the most valuable person in your own life.
You can be happy in your present because you are crazy, head over heels in love with yourself. You value you and all that you have to offer. Yet, you're excited about the better version of you, know- ing that increased happiness awaits you in your future.
When you have a positive view of you, that transfers over to the way you project who you are to others. People will think highly of you as well
and pay homage to this better version of you.
Investing time daily, learning, studying and devel- oping yourself to stay relevant and in tune with the times, will be critical to establishing the better version of you.
You might know a lot, but you don't know it all. There- fore, it is imperative that you are always evolving through increased knowledge. Expo- sure to unfamiliar things ex- pands your thinking. When your mind is sharpened to de- velop cutting-edge ideas and thought processes, your life is advanced to a better version of you.
I want you to consider what the better version of you will look like. Now strive to be that person in 2019 and be- yond.
I want to coach you to suc- cessfully be the best version of you possible. Let’s stay connected through social media. Follow me:

     Are You Listening?
ave you ever ordered a meal from a chicken place
only to find dark and dried out chicken in the bot- tom of the barrel? Have you driven through a ham- burger fast food drive-in window, placed your order only to discover that certain items you didn’t order in your bag and/or missing items you asked for?
On the other hand, have you ever had the person you placed your order with to repeat your order listing something you didn’t order? Have you ever heard an employee show disdain because you said the coffee was not hot enough?
Welcome, to the “Twilight Zone” of fast food and drive-through businesses. In many cases, the miscom- munication takes place time after time to the point where you hold up the line while you check everything in your bag. There has been instances of coffee missing the cream and sugar, breakfast sandwiches with eggs even though you specifically requested no eggs, sauce for your breakfast burrito when you asked for jelly in- stead, and artificial sugar instead of the sugar you re- quested.
Mistakes such as the ones mentioned will happen when people don’t listen, when people make assump- tions about what you are going to say or when people get distracted from what they are doing. Ultimately, customers get fed up and stop visiting the business which impacts the profit margin.
For our readers and managers who work in the fast- food industry or other customer relations industries, we encourage you to train employees to focus on what customers say. In addition, repeat what the customer says as method of confirming what actually was said.
Last, but not least, save conversations with co-work- ers who discuss private escapades, your conflict with managers and other employees or gossip until break or lunch time.
Your singular focus should be listening to the cus- tomer. Perhaps you should take a copy of this Editorial to work for your boss and co-workers.
Now, are you listening?
