Lord, Transform Me Into A Woman Of Mountain-Moving Faith
Lord, increase my faith. Teach me how to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Give me strength to stand strong on Your promises and believe Your every word. I know that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Make my faith increase every time I hear or read your Word. Increase my faith so that I can pray in power. Help me to believe for Your promises to be fulfilled in me. I pray that the genuine- ness of my faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even when it is tested by fire, will be glorifying to You, Lord (1 Peter 1:7).
If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (MATTHEW 17:20)
Lord, grow me up in knowledge of the power of prayer. As I reach out to pray with and for others, give me ever-increasing faith to believe for the answers. I know that with you, God, nothing is impossible. Your Word not only says that, but illustrates it time and again. Help me to have faith strong enough to move the moun- tains in my life.
Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. (MATTHEW 21:22)

‘Ladies Room Live’ Event Attracts
BY LEON B. CREWS Sentinel Staff Writer
Chanel Kissa, founder of Ladies Room Live Tampa, said her first event of 2015 was a complete success with more than 200 women attending.
The event was a networking and empowerment opportu- nity, and also a chance to ex- pose women to more community activities that in- volve giving back.
“As part of our community involvement, we took part in #Lunch Bag Tampa, a com- pany that packs lunch bags for those in need. Along with a group of volunteers, we handed them out all over the city.
“That kicked off just before Thanksgiving 2014 and went well. We packed 500 lunch bags, and the people were grateful, including the message that was put inside of each bag.”
With her company, Chanel said she’s started a “Give Thanks Tour” that tar- gets the Tampa, Orlando, and Miami areas.
“I partner with different homeless shelters to help de- liver some services. In Tampa, I’ve partnered with Metropoli-
tan Min- istries.
“We serve food, give them non- perishable items, and words of en- couragement. This provided a great op- portunity for the business

known,” and she’s open to see what’s going on in every com- munity.
Chanel was the featured speaker this year at the Black Business Brunch, and she spoke about being a new busi- ness owner, branding, and her company.
“I’ve also spoken at the SHE Empowerment Youth Summit at the Children’s Board of Tampa Bay. I spoke about uplifting yourself, self esteem and being a light in the world.
“I’m proud to announce I’ve been nominated to be hon- ored by the Black Women Business Owners, Executives, and Entrepreneurs group. I’m being nominated for Woman of the Year, and I’ll be the only nominee under the age of 40.”
Chanel said she’s excited she can stand by other success- ful women, and being the youngest is an accomplish- ment in itself.
“Coming out this Spring, I’ll be hosting my second “Ladies Room Live” event in Tampa. I’m looking to attract national companies, double my attendees and make a major impact on women moving for- ward in life by unity, and in- spiring one another.”

Chanel said #Lunch Bag brought out the young people, and she thinks more of them want to give back.
“They were very upbeat about what they were doing.
“I always think how I could be on the receiving end of someone helping me, so I know how important this is. We live in an income driven so- ciety, and the people who have no income are usually looked down on and forgotten.”
Chanel said she’s called this year the “Year of the Un-
