Buccaneers’ Doug Martin Sustains Minor Injuries In Car Crash
Dak Prescott Gets More Control Of The Cowboys
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin was involved in a car crash on last Thursday that left him with minor injuries.
Martin’s BMW was hit in the middle of an intersection by a car that ran a stop sign.
The police statement read as follows:
“On May 4, 2017 at approx- imately 1:15 p.m. Doug Martin was traveling east- bound on Azeele Street. The driver of a black Kia traveling

Martin’s vehicle was dis- placed from the roadway and hit an air conditioning unit outside of a local business. Martin received minor cuts and bruises as a result of the crash. Tampa Police officers responded to the scene and cited the driver of the Kia, Jake Balsay, for committing a stop sign violation.”
Martin acknowledged the events on Twitter, and said he was fine, but that his car was- n’t in great shape.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott recently said the offense has just “scratched the surface.”
That same sentiment ap- parently applies to Prescott’s ability to lead the team.
Prescott, for his part, un- derstands the situation.
“It’s my first offseason,” Prescott said, via Brandon George of the Dallas Morn- ing News. “I get it, kind of running the show. In the locker room in the summer, working out with Jason Witten and Sean Lee, you’re going to naturally kind
