Dave Chappelle’s return to the silver screen is upon us. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the revered come- dian has joined the cast of A Star Is Born.
The Warner Bros.’ remake also features Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
A Star Is Born was first re- leased in 1937 and told the story of a downtrodden movie star who stumbles upon a ris- ing actress. He sets out on a mission to take the celebrity hopeful to a level of stardom despite his alcohol demons.
Chappelle’s character’s name is Noodles, a longtime friend of Cooper’s persona,

This news follows the his- toric success of Chappelle’s Netflix comedy shows which stands atop the streaming metrics in the company’s comedic genre.

Hip-hop star DJ Khaled has landed his first ever Bill- board Hot 100 number one with his single “I’m the One.”
The track, which features Justin Bieber, Migos rap- per Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne, also serves as the first top hit on the chart for Chance and Quavo.
Bieber scores his fourth number one, while Lil Wayne earns his third.
Khaled’s track knocks Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” off the top of the new countdown, while Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito,” which also features Bieber, rises to three.

The forthcoming Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me has fans patiently waiting to see the short yet impactful life of the passionate rapper and activist on the big screen. last Sunday night at the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards, stars from the Benny Boom directed film were on hand to premiere an exclusive clip from the film.
In the short scene, Tupac re- cites a poem written for Jada Pinkett. While nervous at first–Pac, played by Demetrius Shipp, Jr., – pulls the handwritten note from his back pocket and be- gins reading and quickly the playful moment becomes seri- ous yet heartwarming.

Wyclef Gets Huge Honor From State Of New Jersey
Hip-hop star Wyclef Jean and actor Ray Liotta were inducted recently into the New Jersey Hall of Fame.
The Haitian-born singer, who grew up in the U.S., was honored for his achievements at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, and gave an im- passioned speech about his father and the opportunities available for immigrants in America.

Rob & Big Star ‘Big Black’ Dies Of Heart Attack
Rob & Big star Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin.
Christopher “Big Black” Boykin, of MTV’s Rob & Big, died Tuesday (May 9). He was 45.
Boykin, who appeared on the reality show alongside pro skateboarder, Rob Dyrdek, succumbed to a heart attack,
his rep confirmed to People. Christopher Boykin was Dyrdek’s bodyguard, as well as his friend. The duo’s real- ity show aired from 2006- 2008, and Boykin went on to appear on Dyrdek’s Fan-
tasy Factory.
