Authorities Said Woman Used Baby To Assault Boyfriend
Man Shot By Bicyclist Dies From Injuries
A man who was shot 10:30 a. m. Wednesday near Fowler Avenue and 15th Street has died from his injuries.
According to Tampa police, Marquette Dames, 24, was at that intersection when an- other man riding a bicycle shot him.
Dames was transported to a local hospital, where he died later that day as a result of his injuries.
Investigating officers inter- viewed witnesses who de- scribed the suspect as a Black male last seen wearing a black tee shirt and grey sweatpants.
Both the Tampa Police De- partment and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office re- sponded to the area and searched for the suspect with-

Help Needed In To Locate Murder Suspect
Investigators Identify Man Found Dead In Street
Plant City Police reported that on July 2nd at 9:47 p.m., their office received a 9-1-1 call regarding an injured person in the 1600 block of Warren Street. When officers arrived, they found a Black male lying in the roadway with upper body trauma. He was pro- nounced dead at the scene.
After notifying the next of kin, police identified the victim as Antowion A. Dixon, 43, of Plant City. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound during the course of the incident that’s still under investigation.
A second white male victim sustained several gunshot wounds during the incident. He was treated and later re- leased from a local hospital.

Man Sets Woman On Fire During Domestic Dispute

St. Petersburg Police offi- cers were called out Tuesday about an incident that took place at 2800 24th Avenue, South.
According to reports, just before 8 p.m. an argument took place inside the home be- tween John Riggins, 37, and his girlfriend, Sheron Pasco, 37.
Police said Riggins al- legedly took a gas can and poured the contents onto Pasco and set her on fire. Pasco’s aunt put Pasco into a tub to extinguish the flames. Riggins reportedly ran out of
the house with possibly both of his arms on fire.
Pasco was hospitalized with severe burns covering her body. She is reported to be in critical condition.
Police found Riggins hid- ing in a vacant house next door. He had burns and was hospitalized for treatment.
Police said preliminary in- formation from the scene has- n’t been confirmed, and investigators are still trying to determine how Pasco was burned. The incident is still under investigation.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested Monday after she al- legedly used her infant to beat up her boyfriend, according to the Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue.
Officials said the incident oc- curred just before 4:30 a.m. along the beach in Daytona Beach.
Officials said Tatyana Allen and her boyfriend got into a fight. At one point, detectives said Allen used her 6-month- old baby boy to batter the man.
The baby was taken to the hospital and is expected to be fine. Allen, who is from Orange County, was arrested and is being held without bond.
The St. Petersburg Police De- partment and the U. S. Mar- shals Fugitive Task Force are asking for help in locating a man wanted for first-degree murder.
On June 20th at 22nd Av- enue, South and Dr. MLK, Jr. Street, South, Taurus Ran- dall Frederick, 38, and Jeron Anthony Davis, 30, became involved in an argu- ment.
According to court records, Davis and Frederick were in a parking lot arguing. Wit- nesses reported seeing Davis running away from a speeding Chrysler 300. At one point, he threw his hands in the air, and tripped over a curb. That’s when he was run over.
Frederick reportedly abandoned the car, and ran on foot from the area. Davis was

pronounced dead at the scene. Frederick is described as 5’7” tall and weighing 140 pounds. A warrant has been is- sued for his arrest on a charge
of first-degree murder. Anyone with information

Man Charged With 100 Counts Of Possession Of Child Pornography
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on June 30th a search warrant was executed on a Samsun Galaxy S3 cell phone. A complete forensic review of the cell phone revealed over 100 image files of child pornography, which de- picted children approximately 6-to-16 years of age either pos- ing or engaged in sexual activi- ties.
Authorities indicated that Stephen Gatto, 46, is the owner of the micro SD 4GB card found inside the cell phone.
On July 6th, a search war- rant was executed at the resi- dence of Gatto. Several

electronic devices were seized and will be reviewed for further evidence.
Gatto was arrested and charged with 100 counts of pos- session of child pornography.
Murder Suspect In Custody

A man wanted on first-degree murder charges for a 2015 killing in Largo has been taken into custody.
Largo Police reported that Leonard Little, 25, is now in custody. They did not give infor- mation, but did confirm Little is in jail.
Little is the third person in custody in connection with the July 13, 2015 shooting death of 21-year-old McKinley Torbit, who police found at 1630 Jeffer- son Avenue in Largo. Torbit died later at an area hospital.
Detectives learned Torbit had been targeted, and was shot during a home invasion robbery attempt.
During the course of the in- vestigation, detectives identified three suspects involved in the shooting. Two of the suspects, Shaquille Felder, 22, and Frank Freeman, 23, were ar- rested during the course of the investigation.
Officials said Little had trav- eled to North Carolina and Gainesville during the past year.
Bond Set At $104,500 For Man Charged With Sex Trafficking
A 30-year-old man was taken into custody and placed on $104,500 bond. He is facing several charges.
According to the Hillsbo- rough County Sheriff’s Office, Brandon Jackson, of Or- lando, was arrested shortly after 2 p.m., Tuesday at the LaQuinta Inn, 4811 U. S. High- way 301. Police were conduct- ing a prostitution investigation at the hotel.
During the investigation, a 32-year-old Hispanic woman, who was allegedly forced to commit acts of prostitution while being held against her will by Jackson.
Police reportedly found Jackson hiding in a locked bathroom with a loaded “Bryco” .389 semi automatic pistol nearby. Investigators searched the hotel room and

found approximately 190 grams of marijuana as well.
Jackson was taken into cus- tody and charged with human sex trafficking, false imprison- ment, being a felon in posses- sion of a firearm, possession of marijuana (over 20 grams) with the intent to sell, and do- mestic violence battery.
