Cavaliers Fine Players Who Fall For Demar DeRozan Pump Fakes
DEMAR DEROZAN
The Cleveland Cavaliers are so determined to ensure that nobody falls for a DeMar DeRozan pump fake that they’re making anyone who does pay up.
The Cavaliers have a stand- ing $100 fine to any player who bites on a DeRozan pump fake.
That was apparently some- thing that helped the Cavaliers handle DeRozan late in the fourth quarter. Tristan Thompson didn’t want to bite, and that helped Cleve- land’s defensive rotations late in their win over the Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Confer- ence semifinals.
Deontay Wilder Offers Anthony Joshua $50M For Fight
DEONTAY WILDER AND ANTHONY JOSHUA
Deontay Wilder has put the ball in Anthony Joshua’s court, and it’s a very, very lucrative ball.
Wilder and his team of- fered Joshua a $50 million minimum guarantee for the two to meet in the boxing ring later this year.
The offer is for the two heavyweights to meet be- tween September and Decem- ber later this year. Wilder would like the fight to be in the US, but his promoter said that is not a deal-breaking point.
The $50 million offer to Joshua is a minimum amount as he would receive the greater of 50 percent of the revenue of the fight or $50 million.

NFL: Eric Reid Hires Kaepernick's Attorney
ERIC REID AND COLIN KAEPERNICK
Former San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid filed a collusion grievance against the National Football League.
On Wednesday, Reid hired Mark Geragos, an at- torney who is also represent- ing former Niners teammate Colin Kaepernick in an NFL collusion case, to handle the grievance.
The 26-year-old LSU product became a free agent after finishing his rookie con- tract with San Francisco last season. He's yet to sign with
a new team after six weeks on the open market.
Reid, who became linked to Kaepernick after they knelt together during the na- tional anthem before games to protest social injustice in the 2016 season, is coming off a strong campaign with the 49ers.
He racked up 66 com- bined tackles, four passes de- fended, two interceptions and a fumble recovery across 13 appearances. Pro Football Focus graded him as the league's No. 30 safety.
Reid has yet to find a suitable offer despite that starter-level production, rais- ing questions about whether his decision to protest is now costing him a job. Kaeper- nick, who started the move- ment in August 2016, has remained a free agent since opting out of his deal with the Niners in March 2017.
