Neighborhood Meeting To Discuss New High School
The Hillsborough County School District will hold an- other meeting about a new high school. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19th.
It will take place at Shields Middle School, 15732 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin. The meeting is to discuss the ac- quisition of additional land to build a new high school.

The school board is now proposing to acquire an addi-

High School TTT is pro- jected to open in August 2020. It will be located on the north side of County Road 672 (Balm Road), east of U. S. 301, across from the Ayesworth and Mirabella subdivision.
The new school will relieve the populations of Lennard High School and East Bay High School.

“One Breath At A Time” was the title of the Annual Hol- iday Party that lung transplant patients were treated to re- cently. The event was held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at The Regent in Riverview.
Adrian White was the first patient to receive a trans- plant in 2015, on January 3rd. - With minor ailments along the way, White is coming up on 3 years of having the transplant.
When we think of Christ- mas and the holiday season, we most often think of the presents that we will give or get. However, White says there is more to Christmas than getting or giving gifts. He values the fellowship and friendship of family and long- time friends and those who have supported him through the years and through the or-
deal of the transplant. Sarcardosis, a disease that
attacks the immune system, led White to the need for a transplant. He suffered with the complications of the dis- ease for 9 years. He traveled the country getting treatment for his ailment.
White was one of the first in the area to actively bring awareness to the disease and how it affects the body. Sarcar- dosis most commonly targets
the lungs and lymph nodes, but the disease can and usually does affect other organs, too, including (but not limited to) the skin, eyes, liver, salivary glands, sinuses, kidneys, heart, the muscles and bones, and the brain and nervous system.
To be able to ‘take one breath at a time’ means more to him than the gifts and pres- ents he’ll receive. However, he doesn’t turn down any gifts, he quickly adds.
