Family Of Inmate Who Died In Custody Wants Answers
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that they are investigating the Wednes- day death of an inmate.
Troy Zimmerman, 25, was booked into the Falkenburg Road Jail on August 16, 2014, and was serving a 364-day sen- tence on burglary charges.
On Wednesday at 4 a. m., jail officials said Zimmerman got up for breakfast and had coffee as he interacted with other in- mates. He then went back to bed to sleep where inmates said he was heard snoring and then gasping. The inmates checked on him and alerted deputies who immediately alerted the medical staff.
Paramedics arrived and transported Zimmerman to a local hospital. At 2:45 p. m., he was pronounced dead, and the cause won’t be determined until an autopsy has been completed.
Troy’s mother, Willistine Zimmerman, received a call that her son was being trans- ported to the hospital and she,

along with his aunt and uncle, Michael and Jeanette Davis went to the hospital. According to Michael Davis, Troy’s mother was allowed to see him when he first arrived.
“After she went in to check on him, we were all told to go downstairs and sit in the wait- ing room. There was a waiting room on the same floor where he was being treated, but they wouldn’t let us sit there. We weren’t told he had died until an hour later, and when we asked what happened, they gave us no answers at all.”
Sheriff’s Office spokesper- son, Debbie Carter, said Willistine Zimmerman was with Troy when he passed, but Davis said that’s not true.
“We were all downstairs and we didn’t’ know a thing. Right now, we’re looking for answers.
His mother spoke to him Tuesday, and he was fine. The only medical problem he had was asthma.
As the family awaits the re- sults of the autopsy to find out what happened, Davis said they are trying to arrange ser- vices for him. “Troy didn’t have any insurance, so we will be needing all the help we can get. We haven’t contacted a funeral home yet, because they haven’t released his body.”
Troy Zimmerman was the second of three children of Willistine Zimmerman, and the father of five children.
More information will be re- leased later by the family after they’ve finished their inquiries into what happened.

According to the University of South Florida Police Department, an investigation began February 6th, after they were notified about suspicious activity involving three accounts at the USF Federal Credit Union.

Man Accused Of Attempting To Run Over Deputies

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, shortly before 1:30 a.m., Monday, deputies responded to the area of Falkenburg Road and Causeway

RALPH BOUZY
Bouzy put the car in reverse and turned around attempting to go around the deputies.
He is alleged to have then placed the vehicle in drive, and intentionally struck the front bumper of the cruiser assigned to Deputy Douglas Duvall. Deputy Duvall was not in the vehicle and it was not damaged.
Bouzy fled on Lumsden Road, where he hit a parked car in the Hess Station parking lot at 915 Providence Road. He then drove the vehicle over the me- dian near the Waffle House

Bouzy was released from the Hillsborough County Jail after posting a bond of $9,250.00.
While responding to the scene, several deputies observed a Nissan Altima driving at a high rate of speed with its headlights off. The vehicle was also ob- served failing to stop at several red lights, police said.
Deputy Mark Buswell ob- served the vehicle in the area of Heather Lakes Boulevard near Lumsden Road, and the driver of the vehicle, identified as Ralph Bouzy, is alleged to have inten- tionally attempted to hit the marked police car head on. Deputy Buswell successfully avoided the collision.
Bouzy allegedly continued driving until he reached the closed gate entrance of the pad- dock Club Apartment Complex. Several deputies were at that lo- cation and ordered Bouzy to get out of the car. Instead, police said,
