An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged after making several false calls to 9-1-1. He is facing numerous charges.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, Domerell Issac Lott called 9-1-1 several times to report crimes that were not actually happening. Two of the 9-1-1 calls included false school threats.
Last Tuesday night, deputies were called to Boston Market, 1401 West Brandon Blvd., in reference to a report of a bomb threat. The threat was determined to be unfounded.
The next day, Wednesday, April 3rd, around 2 p. m., a 9- 1-1 call was made from an in- dividual claiming he was at Bloomingdale High School and was going to start shooting people.
Deputies were immedi- ately dispatched to the

school, it was placed on lockdown and deputies per- formed a swift and thorough search of the school. The in- dividual was not found and the threat was determined to be unfounded.
Detectives determined the same phone number was used to call 9-1-1 in both the Boston Market incident and the Bloomingdale High School incident.
On April 4th, around
12:40 p.m., another 9-1-1 call was made. The caller told dispatch he observed a Black man, carrying a long gun, climb the fence to Clair-Mel Elementary School. The school was placed on lock down, and deputies lo- cated a black Nissan Sentra parked across the street. It was occupied by Lott. Lott was taken into custody and through investigative means the cell phone used to make all three 9-1-1 calls was lo- cated.
Lott was arrested and charged with 3 counts of mis- use of 9-1-1 more than $100.00; false report of a bomb; two counts of making afalsereportofauseofa firearm in a violent manner; and two counts of disrupting a school function.
