The Public Meeting kicks off another special weekend for the Tampa Bay area and Kappa Alpha Psi. The 108- year-old fraternity held its National Founders’ Day celebration in Tampa in January. Now, Kappa men and their Silhouettes from the states of Florida and Alabama, as well as the Bahamas, return to Tampa Bay to hold their annual regional meeting. Hosted by the award-winning Tampa Alumni Chapter, along with the Zeta Chi Chapter of the University of South Florida and the Zeta Chi Colony of Saint Leo University, the action-

packed Province Council meeting will run through Sunday, April 14.
The public meeting won’t be the only time the public will get to mingle with the Kappas. There will be two parties for the Tampa Bay area to show their Southern Hospitality.
On Friday night (April 12th), there will be an exclusive “White Out Party” at the Grand Hyatt. Attendees are asked to wear white in this classy

“White Out” affair, which is sure to get you in the spring spirit.
Closing out the festivities will be the “Black Out Party” Saturday night (April 13th), also at the Grand Hyatt. Patrons are encouraged to wear their fly and chic black attire for the “Black Out” event that will be the talk of the town.
Don’t wait. If the Kappa events held at Founders’ Day are an indica-
tion, these affairs will sell out. Ad- vance tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/o/ta mpa-alumni-chapter-kappa-alpha- psi-17709635710or at www.Tam- paKappas.org.
It has been a special year for the Tampa Alumni Chapter, which is cel- ebrating its 90th year of service to the Tampa Bay community. The past year has seen the chapter donate more than 200 Pack ’n Play cribs to needy families, assisted in election town hall meetings, as well as continue to pro- vide mentorship to young men in the community. This is nothing new as Tampa Alumni has been the premiere fraternity assisting in community af- fairs in Tampa Bay since 1928.
