Memorial Day Boating And Fishing Trips
Memorial Day 2020 was like none others we’ve celebrated. With its social distancing, masks, hand sanitizing, etc., folks had a bit of a challenge trying to enjoy the holiday weekend.
However, there were some who took to the waters and enjoyed the holiday, while distancing themselves. (Photos by Julia Jackson)
Danny Green, left, owner of the boat, and Chef Don Lee, right, took a group of high school graduating seniors on a boat ride on Memorial Day to celebrate their accomplshments. The seniors are: Ashanti John- son, who’s headed to Hillsborough Community College in the fall; Amari Poindexter, Tanesha Mack, Nina Shortt, FAMU; Janaya Thomas, Florida State Univ.; and Lo’Vondre Owens, St. Pete College.
