Ms. Angeline Jean Johnson, who was born on November 19, 1947, has passed. She was a resident of Tampa, FL. Angeline worked for Hillsborough County for 35 years.
Memorial will be held from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. at McDonald Funeral Home, Saturday, March 18, 2017, 10520 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, FL 33612 (813) 933-4950.

SENIOR SERGEANT JEFFREY LEVON WILKS
A homegoing celebration for Senior Sergeant Jeffrey LeVon Wilks (#734), who passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, will be on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 10 a. m. at the Seminole Heights Baptist Church, 801 E Hillsbor- ough Ave., in Tampa with the Chaplain Clarence Nathan, offi- ciating. Interment will be at Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Jeff was born October 1, 1962 to the union of the late Moses Wilks and Jacqueline Gardner Wilks in Fort Lauderdale, FL. His early school years were in Broward County before moving to Tampa, Florida with his fam- ily. Jeffrey graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1980 and attended the Univer- sity of South Florida graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences.
From there he entered the Tampa Police Academy where he successfully completed the academy and went on to join the Tampa Police Department. While working for the City of Tampa Police he rose through the ranks to become a Senior Sergeant soon to retire, devot- ing 30 years of service to the de- partment and the Tampa community.
Jeffrey played soccer and tennis; he loved to travel and be with his family and friends. Jeff was called home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2017.
Sgt. Wilks was preceded in death by: grandparents, William Wilks, Sr. and Tempie Wilks, Ulysses Gardner and Thelma Gardner; his father, Moses Wilks; his sister, Chrysandra Wilks; and his niece, Angel Wilks Young.
Jeff is survived by: his loving mother, Jacqueline Wilks; sis- ter, Cheryl Wilks; nephew, Alvin (Tre`) Young, III, (all of Tampa, FL); 2 great aunts, Mrs. Ophelia King of Rochester, NY and Mrs. Marjorie Thurston of Cleveland, OH; 9 uncles, Rudolph Gardner, Robert Gardner (Lisa), Fred Gardner, Anthony Gardner (Mary), all of Valdosta, GA, Mack Gardner, Jacksonville, FL, Darrell Gardner of Tampa, Lester Wilks (Melrose) of Ft.
