Mr. Franklin James “Frankie” Rivers of Tampa, FL died at home on January 11, 2017. Born July 15, 1951 in Lake Wales, FL, he moved to Tampa from St. Peters- burg, FL. He served as a Ma- rine in the United States Military.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017, 5-7 p. m. at Alexander Funeral Home, 620 Ave “T” N.E., Winter Haven, FL 33881.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017, 11 a. m. at the Abun- dant Believers Church, 2101 2nd Street N.E., Winter Haven, FL 33881.

Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Lloyd of Tampa, passed away Sun- day, January 15, 2017. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, Janu- ary21,at2p.m.atRay Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Pastor Vernon Webb, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lloyd was a native of Arlington, GA and a resi- dent of Tampa for 61 years. She was educated in the public schools of Arlington, Georgia and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Lloyd was a devoted wife and mother.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two lovely and beautiful daughters, Mrs. Jacquelyn Hayes (Joseph Hayes) and Ms. Darlene Lloyd Green; son, Patrick Lloyd (Jeanie); goddaugh- ter, Patricia Bradley; two granddaughters, Tammara Lloyd and devoted grand- daughter, Denisha Green; two grandsons, Tremayne Hayes and Lewis Singleton, III; one great-granddaugh- ter, Ayanna Singleton; two great grandsons, Malachi Hayes and Benaiah Single- ton; and a host of other sor- rowing relatives and friends.

Mr. Maurice S. Maldonado of Tampa, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Satur- day, January 21, at 11 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Maurice Maldonado was born on November 9, 1988 to Davina Drayton and Erving Maldon- ado, Sr. in Tampa. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Hillsborough High School.
Maurice began his career as a cook at various restaurants in Tampa. He enjoyed watching hockey, playing video games, and spending time with family. Maurice had a passion for growing flowers, fruits, and vegetables. He cooked with what he grew, and he also shared his fruits and vegetables with family and the homeless.
Maurice had a knack for re- pairing bicycles and riding throughout the city. He also was a talented artist. He sent drawings of flowers and ani- mals to his family on a regular basis. He expressed his love through these gifts and letters.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Sarah North- ern, Carmen Badillo and Sarafine Maldonado.
Maurice leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Davina Drayton (William); his father, Erving Maldonado, Sr.; brother, Erving Maldonado, Jr. (Anita); sister, Marashia Mc- Cormick (Raheem); nephew, Ian McCormick; niece, Audrey McCormick; grandfather, David L. Northern, Jr.; grand- mother, Juanita Wright; hon- orary grandmother, Janie Cohens; uncle, David L. Mr. Marvin Mitchell, Jr. of Tampa passed away Wednes- day, January 11, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, January 21, at 11 a. m. at Faith Life Church, 2702 E. Bearss Avenue, Minister N. C. Carter, presiding, with Bishop J. M. Carter, Sr., eulogist. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Marvin Mitchell, Jr. was a native of Tampa and was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. He was a member of The Church of the Apostles under the leadership of Bishop Johnny and Co-Pas- tor Naomi Carter.
Mr. Marvin Mitchell, Jr. was preceded in death by: his son, Marvin DeMarcus Mitchell; fa- ther, Marvin Mitchell, Sr.; grandparents, Inell Gary, Fan- nie Sullivan, and Robert W. Gary; and uncles, Richard Gary and Willie James Webster.

Mrs. Minnie M. Reed of Tampa passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017. A Service of Tribute will be held Monday, January 23, at 1:30 p. m. at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with Elder Sean D. Smith, presiding. In- terment will follow.
Mrs. Reed was a native of Tallahassee, FL and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. She was educated by the public schools in Tallahassee, FL and was a member of New Salem Primi- tive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Sanders B. Reed; mother, Emma Rollins and her grandson, Myron L. Smith, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Jimmy L. Reed; daughter, Sandra R. Smith (Myron) and son, Shay- ron B. Reed; nine grandchil- dren; ten great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
