MR. RYAN KEITH DENNIS
A homegoing celebration for Mr. Ryan Keith Dennis of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 will be held Saturday, January 21st, 2 p.m. at Cathe- dral Of Faith Church, 6304 N. 30th St., Apostle James H. How- ell, pastor, with Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Ryan was born April 21, 1976 in Tampa, to the late James Dennis and Jacqueline Davis. He resided in Boston, Massa- chusetts, but Tampa was where he considered home. He at- tended Hillsborough County Public Schools and Hillsbor- ough Community College. He was employed by Ramcon LLC.
Ryan was a very intellectual man. He was a devoted Muslim and had a passion for reading and writing poetry. He will be remembered for having a car- ing heart; he always gave to anyone who was in need. He will also be remembered for his joking nature he loved mak- ing people laugh and be- friended anyone he encountered.
He was preceded in death by: his father, James Henry Dennis, Sr.; grandfather, Ernest Tyrone Davis; grand- mother, Myrtis Dennis; great uncle, Robert Davis; great aunt, Mollie Graham; uncle, Larry A. Davis; cousins, Dollie Mae Knight, Inas Rashada (Yoli) and Michelle Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his chil- dren, Messiah Dennis and Ryan N. K. Dennis; godson, Michael Booker; mother, Jacqueline Davis; grand- mother, Veronica Davis; wife, Akia White; stepfather, Ronald Golden; godfather, Alif Majied; siblings, Kendon Davis, Khalil, Hasan and Malik Majied, Za- keya Jones, Ronica Golden, Kenneth Bradford, Tameka and James Dennis, Leon Nes- bih, Dalena Dennis, Erick Brooks, James Dennis, Kisha Perry, James Dennis (Red), and Nicole GyeQyame; aunts, Ernestine Davis, Susan Davis Langham, Sharon Davis, Katie Davis Brown, Sara Davis and Hafeezah Rashada; special uncle, Derrick Fields; uncles, Michael, Ernest, Shane, Keny- atta Davis and Cedric Robin- son; special cousins, Alexia Carter and Chad Moore; spe- cial friends, James Pickens, Antron Troupe and Odell Bar- num; a host of other loving family and friends to cherish his memories.
There will not be a public viewing and the family will re- ceive friends from 6 to 7 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Fri- day, January 20th. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
MRS. CECILIA HARRIS ELIZABETH JONES HARRIS ‘BABY SISTER’
A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Cecilia Elizabeth Jones Harris of Tampa, FL who passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 11 a. m. at Grace Mary M. B. Church, 3901 N. 37th Street, Elder James Reed, pas- tor, Elder Terry Roe, officiating and Pastor Antonio Hawkins, eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cecilia Harris “Baby Sister” was born on February 18, 1937 in Tampa, to the late Cecil Jones and Angeline Jones Devine. She attended public schools in both Tampa and Miami, FL. She graduated from Don Thompson Vocational High School (Blake High School). Cecilia was em- ployed as an L. P. N. in Sacra- mento, California and Corpus Christi, Texas. She later re- turned to Tampa, FL and mar- ried Calvin Harris. Cecilia then became a full time home domes- tic engineer.
Cecilia was preceded in death by: her parents, Cecil Jones, Sr., and Angeline Jones-Devine; sis- ters, Claretha Young, Daisy Jones and Shirley Jones; broth- ers, Cecil Jones, Jr., and Sylvester Jones; and niece, Cheryl Carter.
She leaves to cherish loving memories with: her daughters, Joyce Christopher, Sylvia Har- ris and April Jenkins (fiance’, Marcus Davidson); grandchil- dren, Leonard Boone, Leon, Latesha, Lavell, Latoya and Laron Christopher, Tiandra and Tiarra Barker, Deandre’ Saun- ders, D’nyla Davidson and Miguel Hancock; 17 great- grandchildren; sister, Gloria Jones of Miami; cousin, Bennie Small, Jr.; special nieces, (like a daughter), Angelina Jones, Anita Jones and Tawanda John- son; 16 nieces and nephews; sis- ter-in-law, Delores Jones of Maryland; brother-in-law, Solomon Grooms of Pittsburgh, PA.; 13 godchildren; 10 god- grandchildren; and best friend for 30 years, Mrs. Sammie Davis.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, January 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

Michael McFarland was born on October 20, 1944 in Orlando, FL to the late James Smith and Minnie Siplin McFarland. He honor- ably served in the United States Army and the Army Reserve as a military police officer for many years. He was also an avid entertainer. He enjoyed singing, dancing and mentoring children. He was the creator and founder of the Tampa Cadets, a pro- gram designed to help inner city troubled youth.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, James Smith and Minnie Siplin (Hand- some); brothers, James “Handsome”, Floyd, Carl, Tommy, Sylvester and Curtis McFarland; sisters, Ida Smith and Shirley Peterson.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories with: his children, Michael McFar- land, Jr. and Carthenia Turk; grandchildren, Nakayla Mc- Farland, Laila Garcia, Zenani Washington, Carlisssa Turk, Najee Rus- sell, Nyla Coy and Wyla Coy; great grandson, Zayden Bal- let; sisters, Glenda Thomas (Hezikiah), Tampa, FL and Barbara McAllister, Rochester, NY; brother, James “Handsome” McFar- land, Titusville, FL; sister-in- law, Ella McFarland, Tampa, FL; uncle, Dan Siplin, Or- lando, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors; neice, Aisha (Ricky), Dyer, CA and Julissa Ortiz (Andre), Tampa, FL and longtime friend, Gwen- dolyn Russell.

MS. PATRICIA HOBLEY ‘TRISHA, AKA ANN’
Homegoing celebration for Ms. Patricia Hobley, who passed away January 8, 2017, will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610 with Rev. Zachary Hudson officiat- ing. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, 4406 E. Chelsea Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Ms. Patricia Hobley was a native of Florida and a resi- dent of Tampa for sixty years. She graduated from King High School. She was gainfully em- ployed for several years before she became disabled.
Patricia was preceded in death by: her father, Orie Hobley; and nephew, Mon- tello “Monty” Hobley; grand- parent, Rube (Alice) Johns; uncles: Willie Johns, Robert Johns, James Johns and Eli Johns; aunties, Doris Taylor, Lorine Berry, Katherine Burr and Rosa Lee Smalls.
She leaves: a devoted and loving mom, Minnie Hobley; four brothers: Orie Hobley, Jr. (Gwen) of Clayton, Geor- gia, Keith Hobley and James Hobley of Tampa; Nathaniel Hobley (Cherry) of Columbus, GA; aunt, Meraldine Banks of Tampa; a host of nieces, nephews and all caring rela- tives.
Visitation for Ms. Patricia Ann Hobley will be this Friday from5p.m.until8p.m.at Harmon Funeral Home. The processional will assemble at 10:45 a. m. in the Chapel on Saturday.

Graveside services with mil- itary honors and committal will be held Tuesday morning, January 24, 2017 at 10 a. m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, with Minister Rex Dutton offering words of comfort.
Jerry Lee Long, Sr. was a member of the U. S. Armed Forces Army Branch E3. He was a native of Atlanta, GA.
