Showtime's co-president Gary Levine revealed the news Friday during the Tele- vision Critics Association summer press tour. "There is a lot of great life in The Chi and there's also death in The Chi and that's how we'll be dealing with it," he said.
Fans were probably ex- pecting this news after

Chadwick Boseman Cop Thriller '21 Bridges' Gets Release Date Moved (Again)
 Chadwick Boseman's
21 Bridges has been pushed back to later in the year.
The release date for 21 Bridges is now set for No- vember 22 instead of its scheduled September 27 pre- miere. This isn't the first time the film has been moved back. As we reported in May, the film was originally sup- posed to premiere July 12, but was moved to its now-de- funct September date for rea- sons unknown.
According to Deadline, the decision to move the film

came after Comic-Con, where the trailer got "a strong re-
sponse." But it seems the rea- son the decision was made because of Joker, opening October 4. Those over the film, including directors Joe and Anthony Russo, ap- parently, don't want the film to have to deal with the likes of the Joaquin Phoenix starring DC movie, which is already getting awards buzz.
Deadline also states that September itself is "crowded," so 21 Bridges' move is trying to get out of the way of tons of competi- tion.
