Hillsborough County Charter Review Board To Meet Jan. 5 To Discuss Executive Summary Report
Believing It’s Not Over Till It’s Over
Lord, my times are in Your Hands. Thank You that my life is never over here on this earth until You say it is. And when that time comes, I will see You face to face and dwell in Your presence. Thank You that You never give up on me, even when I have given up on my- self. I am so happy that no matter what age I am, I will al- ways have purpose because You have great things for me to do.
Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flour- ish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing. PSALM 92:13- 14
Lord, I know from Your Word that You never put us out to pasture because we have outlived our usefulness and purpose. Thank You that Your call on my life will continue
untilIgotobewithYou.ButI also know that the specific de- tails of how my purpose on earth is lived out can change. Help me to always hear Your voice leading me in the way I should go.
You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is the fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forever- more. PSALM 16:11
Lord, when it’s time for me to do something different, help me not to cling to the past or be afraid to move into the fu- ture You have for me. Your Word says that Your plans for me are for good, and I know that I am secure as long as I walk through each day with You. Give me strength, courage, health, wisdom, reve- lation and faith for the jour- ney. I trust You to keep me on the right path and to continue giving me the light I need for the step I’m on.
Listen to counsel and receive instruction that you may be wise in your later days. PROVERBS 19:20
Lord, I know that fruit is sea- sonal and that I won’t neces- sarily be bearing fruit constantly. When I am in a season of rest so that the soil of my life won’t be depleted, help me not to worry that my life is over. Help me not to strive against what is to be a time of preparing the soil of my heart for what is to come. Thank You that You will always produce a fresh crop through me as long as I am willing to be planted.
Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts. ZECHARIAH 4:6
