1ST LADY ARSIE L. “PRECIOUS” SIMS July 26, 1948 – April 28, 2016
It has been one year since that afternoon when you left us to be with the Lord. I miss you so much, yet I am confident that you are indeed with the Lord. Yes, I still hang out at the ceme- tery, yes, I still cry, yes, I still want you here, however though I am alone I am not lonely for your presence is always in our
home and the Holy Spirit is always with me.
You provided me the joy of life that will never go away. Because of your love, I live; because of your joy, I am happy; because of your faith, I continue to be faithful.
You are sadly missed by your Hon/Reverend/Hus- band/Pastor W. D. Sims; daughters and their chil- dren: Kimberly (Caiden, Averie, Jace); LaDon (Alyssa, Aidan, Auriel); Kandy (Tyreke, Tyrell), along with Mommie Ivory Mabry, Mother Emmeral Latimer and a host of family mem- bers and friends.
Your sister Cassie McCain is still with me and providing loving support. Many of the family of St. Matthew Mis- sionary Baptist Church often talk about you as they share how they miss you and how you impacted their lives. Their kind words of comfort to me are always welcomed and appreciated. We say as you always said, “LOVE YOU MUCH!” and “LOVE IS WHAT LOVE DOES!” We miss and love you much beloved Precious.
I love and miss you my beloved “Precious” and one day I will be on that side where you are.
