AFTER 7 YEARS, MIDDLETON TIGERS WIN HERITAGE CLASSIC TROPHY
It has been 7 years since the Tigers of Middleton High School were able to look at the Heritage Classic Trophy in their own Trophy Case. That all changed a few weeks ago when the Tigers defeated the Yellow Jackets of Howard W. Blake High School in the 2020 Annual Heritage Football Classic. New Head Coach John Courtney, said, “It is a great accom- plishment for the greater East Tampa Community.” The Tigers defeated the Yellow Jackets, 30-12. The team, with the trophy in the center, are shown with: Coach Courtney, Principal Mickey Boddie, Coach Kilo Toombs, and Coach Dane Seckar. Congratulations MHS Tigers! (Photograph by BRUNSON)
