Tony Dungy: Jameis Winston, Peyton Manning Similar Through First 5 Seasons
Ndamukong Suh Re-Signs With Bucs
Bucs Re-Sign Two More Defenders
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers continue to whittle away at a list of unrestricted free agents that was once 19 players long.
The latest free agents to return to the team are safety Andrew Adams and de- fensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches, each of whom signed a new one-year contract on Tuesday.
The Buccaneers have also re-signed outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul and in- side linebacker Kevin Minter while placing the franchise tag on outside line-
Peyton Manning Reportedly Turns Down ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Football’
PEYTON MANNING
ESPN is looking to add a huge name to its “Monday Night Football” broadcast for next season, but that big hire is not going to be Peyton Manning.
Manning has officially turned down ESPN’s massive offer, Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports.
The former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback is not yet ready to commit to the weekly schedule of the NFL season as an analyst, and it remains un- clear if he ever will be.
Manning has now turned down ESPN and other major networks on multiple occa- sions. While he has done two shows — “Peyton Places” and “Detail” — for ESPN+, work- ing as a broadcaster would in- volve a much more demanding schedule, and Manning appears to be en- joying retirement with his family.

addition, the Bucs re-signed tight end Antony Auclair, a potential restricted free agent, and gave new one-

ner Hudson and wide re- ceiver Bryant Mitchell, who could have been exclu- sive rights free agents.
Jameis Winston appar- ently isn't that far off from being a young version of Peyton Manning.
At least in Dungy's eyes.
Tony
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts head coach appeared on Monday's episode of the Dan Patrick Show and said he would take Winston over Cam Newton at this point in their respective careers while making the compari- son.
"You look at Jameis' numbers and Peyton Man-

ning's numbers in those first five years, there's not a lot of difference other than Peyton's team won more," Dungy said.
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers defense just got a little bit stronger.
The Bucs just re-signed defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh on a one- year, $8 million contract, bringing back a lynchpin of the Bucs’ defensive front from last season.
Despite lacking the gaudy numbers of years past — rack- ing up 41 tackles and 2.5 sacks — Suh attracted a lot of at- tention from opposing line- men. As the nose tackle in defensive coordinator, and

former Jets coach, Todd Bowles’ 3-4 defense, Suh was double-teamed on 261 snaps as the Tampa Bay de- fense allowed the fewest rush- ing yards and tied for seventh in the league with 47 sacks.
Cam Newton seems to have a chip on his shoulder after being replaced by Teddy Bridgewater in Carolina.
Bridgewater got a three- year, $63 million contract from the Panthers and will be the team’s starter. He shared a photo on social media Mon- day that appeared to show him signing his contract.
The Panthers traded quar- terback Kyle Allen to the Redskins on Monday. As for
Cam, the Panthers seem to want to trade Newton but will probably end up releasing him.
Newton is coming off foot surgery and seems motivated to show what he can do. Hours after Bridgewater posted a photo signing the contract, Newton posted photos on In- stagram of himself working out.
Newton compared him- self to a “warrior in battle.”
Turned Down $17M Annually From Dolphins
Jadeveon Clowney is holding out for a lot of money that he isn’t getting right now.
Clowney had discus- sions with the Miami Dol- phins about a deal that would have been worth roughly $17 million annually. When this still wasn’t enough to get Clowney to commit, the Dolphins moved on and signed Shaq Lawson in-
