Tokyo Olympics Will Be Postponed Until 2021
LeBron James Being Sued For $150,000 For Posting Picture Of Himself Dunking
LeBron James is being sued for posting a picture of himself.
New York copyright attor- ney Richard Liebowitz has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the NBA superstar on behalf of Steve Mitchell. Mitchell took a picture of James throwing down a dunk over Miami center Meyers Leonard during the Lakers' game against the Heat on Dec. 13. The next day, James posted a cropped version of the picture on his social media accounts.
"What.A.Time.To.Be.Alive and I’m LIVING with Pure Joy! Thank you," James cap- tioned the photo. "P.S. Miami always love y’all! Great win last night Gang Gang."
James posts photos taken from in-game action to his so-

cial media accounts very fre- quently throughout the sea- son. While some photographers use this expo- sure to their advantage, Mitchell decided to file a law- suit against James, claiming that James and his camp in- fringed on his copyright by posting the image.
Tokyo Olympics will be postponed until 2021, veteran IOC member Dick Pound said.
The International Olympics Committee member has said that the competition will not take place as planned this year.
Pound told USA Today: 'On the basis of the informa- tion the IOC has, postpone- ment has been decided.
'It will come in stages. We will postpone this and begin to deal with all the ramifications of moving this, which are im- mense.'
Responding to Pound's comments, an IOC spokesman said: 'Well, as we announced yesterday, we are looking at scenarios.'
It follows Japan's prime minister Shinzo Abe has conceded that a delay to the
Tokyo Olympic Games could be 'inevitable' as the world continues to battle the coron- avirus pandemic.
On Monday, Abe told par- liament that Japan was still committed to hosting a 'com- plete' Games, but added: 'If that becomes difficult, in light of considering athletes first, it may become inevitable that we make a decision to post- pone.'

Karl-Anthony Towns Says
Mother Is In Medically-Induced
Coma Due To Coronavirus
Karl-Anthony Towns
shared an emotional video on social media Tuesday night in which he revealed that his mother is in dire condition due to the coronavirus.
Towns says his mother is in a medically-induced coma after dealing with symptoms consistent with COVID-19. He said he was sharing the story to educate people about the severity of the situation so that they practice social distancing to avoid spreading and con- tracting the virus.
In his Instagram video, Towns says he was told early last week that his parents were not feeling well, so he advised them to get medical attention. When there wasn’t improve- ment, he advised his mom to go to the hospital. Towns says his mother’s fever was

Jimmy Smith Returns To Ravens On 1-Year Deal For $6M
The Baltimore Ravens de- fense continues to look strong. The Ravens on Monday re- signed cornerback Jimmy Smith to a 1-year, $6M deal,
his agent said.
Smith, 31, only played in
nine games last season be- cause of a knee injury. He had 30 tackles, a sack and an in- terception. The 2011 first- round pick has 14 career interceptions and made $9.5M last season, so this rep-

resents a pay cut by about a third.
Smith is a No. 1 corner- back, so keeping him was key.
Vanessa Bryant has been trying to get matters sorted re- garding her family trust ever since husband Kobe and daughter Gianna died in Jan- uary. There has been some progress in that effort, accord- ing to a report.
TMZ Sports reported on Monday night that Bryant’s daughters have been appointed legal guardians to represent their interests in the family trust. Vanessa and Kobe’s agent, Rob Pelinka, are the co-trustees.
New legal documents say Natalia and Bianka have been appointed a guardian ad litem. Baby Capri has a guardian ad litem as well, though her guardian is different from the one her two older sis- ters have.
A guardian ad litem acts to protect a child’s interest.
Natalia is 17 and the clos- est to being an adult. Bianka is 3, while Capri is nine months old.
Vanessa recently was at- tempting to get Capri added to the trust since the young baby was not born at the time the trust was last updated. Bryant was looking to get things done soon because of uncertainty re- garding shutdowns related to the Coronavirus.
Jets Sign Bucs WR Breshad Perriman After Losing Robby Anderson To Panthers
The New York Jets lost one top receiver on Tuesday, but they believe they have gained another.
The Jets are signing Bre- shad Perriman to a one- year deal for $8M with $6M guaranteed.
Perriman turns 27 in September and is coming off his best statistical season.
The 2015 first-round pick by the Ravens had 36 catches for 645 yards and six touch- downs with the Bucs last sea- son. Nearly all of that production came in Decem- ber, when Chris Godwin and
BRESHAD PERRIMAN
Mike Evans missed time. Perriman finished the season with three straight 100-yard games and scored five of his six touchdowns in December. The Jets are hop- ing to get that sort of produc-
tion out of him.
