Reader Wants Companies To Provide Equal Employment Information
   here are truly but
few absolutes. And, that too, goes in the often heated and on-going ar- guments and compar- isons between Socialist and Capitalist practices. The truth of the matter is that in our Republic we have some of both prac- tices in the way we gov-
ern and expect to be gov- erned.
I am listening to peo- ple voice their disap- proval related to the request to vet potential companies and organiza- tion of government bailout funds (Tax Pay- ers Money or Money loaned to the Govern-
ment) of a requirement to provide their Equal Employment informa- tion. Why is this a prob- lem?
If your organization is consistent, equitable and fair in the execution of its hiring, evaluation and reward processes, what is there to fear?
I stand in the line that ask for our government to insist that those it helps follow its rules and regulations before enter- taining and executing re- quests for help from the government for financial assistance such as bail outs, loans and grants.

Castor Announces $430K In Coronavirus Aid For Tampa Family Health Centers
Wednesday, U. S. Rep. Kathy Castor (FL14) an- nounced two grants to help Tampa Family Health Cen- ters serve our neighbors in need and combat the spread of COVID-19.
Castor championed the $8.3 billion coronavirus funding package passed by the House two weeks ago and signed into law that included these funds to protect the public health of our Tampa neigh- bors.
“I’m working to speed emergency aid to our Tampa area neighbors, families and workers. This is the first shot in the arm that our Tampa community is receiving from the Congress and administra-

tion. Tampa Family Health Centers is a vital lifeline for families, especially during this uncertain time,” said Castor.
“This a grave health crisis that also is taking a toll on jobs and paychecks. We are counting on courageous and devoted front line workers and health professionals like those at Tampa Family Health Centers. They will help us get through this. I want to assure our neighbors that additional help is on the way in the coming days."
Nearly $1 billion for pro- curement of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies to sup- port healthcare prepared- ness, and for Community Health Centers to improve medical surge capacity was included in the first aid pack- age, signed into law on March 6, 2020.
Would One Hundred And Six Million Americans Die For The Economy?
an Patrick. Remember that name. If we had not
heard him say it with our own ears, we would have thought we were looking at a scene from a movie such as “Logan’s Run,” “Norsemen,” or “MidSom- mar.”
When Dan Patrick, Lt. Governor of Texas, said he and other grandparents would be willing to risk their health and even their lives to “get back to work” in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic. He actually said, “Those of us who are 70 plus will take care of ourselves. But don’t sacrifice the economy.” No one reached out to me and said, “As a senior citizen, are you willing to take a chance on your survival in ex- change for keeping the America that America loves for its children and grandchildren?” And if that is the ex- change, I’m all in.”
It’s SENICIDE, OR GERONTICIDE, idiot. Is he CRAZY? Why not ask the 17 million Americans who are sick with cancer to forfeit their lives? Then again, there are 18.2 million people who are sick with heart conditions, certainly, they wouldn’t mind dying for the top 500 Fortune companies. Wait! What about the 30.3 million diabetics or the 37 million people with kidney disease? Surely, they don’t mind dying for the almighty dollar. And don’t forget the 3.5 million peo- ple who are living with emphysema.
By now, we hope you get the point . . . a hundred and six million or more of our citizens would be placed at risk if we tried to open up and do business as usual even with social distancing in America.
We thought there could only be one elected official in America without a brain. Dan Patrick makes two. He and any sixty year old or older person who feels like sacrificing their lives should have at it, but leave the rest of the smart thinking senior citizens and sick Americans out of it.
