NIMZ
This week’s Spotlight shines directly on the lovely Nimz. Nimz lights up every room she enters, and makes whoever is around her, a better person. She knows you will have to have that certain some- thing different to catch the attention of the powers that be. Nimz has her sights set on something really big in the near future, and she promises everyone will know who she is no matter where her journeys take her. Mom Arrested For Intentionally Ramming Car

A 28-year-old St. Petersburg woman was arrested last Monday. She is facing two counts of inten- tionally ramming another vehicle.
According to police, Ms. Bri- ana Ciesha Morrison was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and child abuse.
The incident took place at the intersection of 31st Street, South and 18th Avenue, South. Police said Ms. Morrison admitted that she had tried to fight another mom at the school where their children attend.
Police said Ms. Morrison followed the other woman and rear-ended her vehicle while it was stopped for a red light. She is then alleged to have pounded on the victim’s window yelling for her to get out and fight.
Ms. Morrison was charged with child abuse because she had a child in her vehicle at the time the crime was committed.

Shot In Stomach
The Sarasota Police De- partment has arrested two people in connection with the shooting of a pregnant woman. The incident took place on December 22nd.
According to police, the shooting took place at approx- imately 3:15 p.m., near the in- tersection of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Way and Maple Avenue.
The victims told police they were sitting in the car talking with someone at the intersec- tion. They said two people in a car behind them became angry at them for stopping in the road. They pulled off and the victims said they noticed the car following them.
When the car drove next to them at Martin Luther King, Jr., Way and Coconut Avenue, a passenger, a man pointed a gun out of the window and fired two shots. One of the shots hit the victim who is pregnant in the left forearm and the bullet continued through her arm into her stomach. After the shots were

fired, the vehicle drove away at a high rate of speed.
Detectives arrested James Phillips, 17, and his 23-year- old sister, Rajanique Graves without incident.
Phillips was charged with attempted second-degree murder, shooting into an oc- cupied vehicle, and aggravated assault with a firearm.
Graves is charged with at- tempted second-degree mur- der, shooting into an occupied vehicle and aggravated assault with a firearm. She is believed to have been driving at the time of the incident.
