Shaq Doesn’t Accept Christmas Presents; Gives Away Thousands Of Toys
SHAQUILLE O’NEAL
Shaquille O’Neal follows Santa’s Christmas etiquette.
“I do not accept gifts,” Shaq, 47, recently told Page Six. “You show me a movie where Santa receives gifts and I’ll take one.”
Instead, the 7-foot-1 athlete spends his holiday giving away thousands of toys to kids in need, in true Santa spirit.
“I’ve been doing my annual Shaq-A-Claus [event], handing out toys to kids,” he said, adding that it’s the only holiday tradi- tion he really sticks to.
This will be the 28th year in a row that the former NBA star will host his Shaq-A-Claus event.
“I know what it’s like to wake up and not get one single toy on Christmas and I don’t want any child to have to go through that,” he told reporters.
Boxer Adrien Broner Ordered To Pay Over $800,000 For Sexual Assault
ADRIEN BRONER
Former boxing champ Adrien Broner has been or- dered to pay nearly $830,000 to a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her in a Cleveland nightclub.
A common pleas court judge in Cuyahoga County awarded the victim, who has not been named, $500,000 in punitive damages, $250,000 in compensatory damages, and ordered Broner to pay her legal fees.
Broner, 30, did not appear in court to defend himself or contest the charges, which led to the default judgement.
The incident in question happened back in June 2018. The victim and her friend went to a nightclub in Cleveland’s Warehouse District after Game 4 of the NBA Finals, and both were invited back to the club’s VIP section.
Magic Johnson On Lakers' Success: 'This Team Would Not Be In The Position
Shaquille O’Neal is bringing top talent to his an- nual Shaq’s Fun House festi- val on Super Bowl weekend in Miami this year.
“I had to call my legends to come join me,” the 47-year- old former NBA star told Page Six on Monday. “It’s going to be epic.”
Headliners include
Diddy, DaBaby, Tiësto, Pitbull, and Carnage, and Shaq will also hit the DJ booth under his moniker DJ Diesel.
“We just got tired of all the boring super bowl parties,” he told us. “They’re all the same — people just standing around — so we wanted to do some- thing else. We wanted to bring
carnival life, Vegas nightlife, and festival life altogether.”
The 7-foot-1 baller plans to join attendees on the dance- floor as well.
“I want to give these kids an experience that they’ll never forget so I always go jump in the crowd,” he said. “Give them a chance to pull out their phone, put it on their little social media.”
Shaq’s Fun House will take place at Mana Wynwood Convention Center from 9pm- 2am on Friday, January 31st.
Wynn Nightlife’s Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub will be hosting the VIPs.

Echoing a similar theme that he's maintained since his abrupt departure as an execu- tive for the Lakers, Magic Johnson said that he should be credited for the success of the current team, which is a squad that holds a 24-4 record that ties for the best mark in the NBA.
Johnson's comments came in an interview with L.A. Times and Around the Horn staple Bill Plaschke during an event in which the Hall of Famer continued his decades- long philanthropic pursuits by giving away bikes to children at a community center.

that "this team would not be in the position it’s in without me." He goes on to explain how he can make such a decla- ration after a tenure that was- n't exactly celebrated the way that his playing career was.

Giannis Antetokounmpo
Puts On Crown After Scoring Against King James’ Team
   Sterling Brown On
Giannis Antetokoun- mpo and his Milwaukee Bucks got the best of LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night, and The Greek Freak wanted to make sure everyone knew that.
Antetokounmpo has in- creased his three-point shoot- ing this season and is now attempting more than five per game. On Thursday, he made a career-high five threes as his Bucks won 111-104.
After the fifth three, which came in the fourth quarter, Giannis pretended to put a crown on his head.
That seemed to be Ante- tokounmpo’s way of saying

to King James that there is a new king, which probably won’t go over with LeBron.
Giannis is currently look- ing like a favorite to repeat as NBA MVP. The Bucks and Lakers have the two best records in the league.
Turning Down Settlement
From Milwaukee: ‘It Was
Just A Slap In The Face’
While Milwaukee offered Sterling Brown a $400,000 settlement offer in his lawsuit against its police department stemming from an incident at a Walgreens last year, the Bucks guard turned it down.
He has no regrets about that decision, either.
“They tried to get me to settle for it,” Brown said, via ESPN. “I feel like it was just a slap in the face, and I can’t get into too many details, but there’s other things that we’re trying to push.
“The money is not the biggest concern. It’s not a priority for me. It’s the other things involved, so we’re going to keep fighting.”
The 24-year-old was swarmed by several officers around 2 a.m. last January in a near-empty Walgreens parking lot over a simple parking violation. Brown was confronted by an officer in the parking lot before at least five other police vehi- cles arrived. Despite him not

appearing to act aggressively in body camera footage of the arrest, Brown was forcefully taken to the ground, tased and arrested.
The Bucks released a powerful statement after footage of his arrest was made public, slamming the “shameful and inexcusable” actions of the Milwaukee po- lice department. The depart- ment has since apologized for the incident, and an officer was fired in September over several racist and mocking social media posts directed toward Brown and other NBA players.
