Method Man To Star In 'Power' Spinoff On Starz
Corey Hawkins Joins Lupita
    As the show prepares to close its sixth and final season in February, Starz has an- nounced Clifford “Method Man” Smith will be joining the “Power” prequel, “Power Book 2: Ghost,” starring op- posite Mary J. Blige. The network also released a first look image of the rapper’s character in the upcoming se- ries.
It’s a reunion for Method Man and Blige, who per- formed together on the 1995 hit single “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need to Get By,” which won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Perform- ance by a Duo or Group in 1996.

 METHOD MAN IN POWER BOOK 2: GHOST
Corey Hawkins has been cast in a lead role in the up- coming HBO Max series “Americanah,” Variety has learned.
Hawkins joins previously announced stars Lupita Ny- ong’o, Zackary Momoh, and Uzo Aduba. The series is based on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s best-selling novel of the same name.
“Americanah” is a 10- episode limited series that tells the story of Ifemelu (Ny- ong’o), a young, beautiful, self-assured woman raised in Nigeria, who as a teenager falls in love with her classmate Obinze (Momoh). Living in a military-ruled country, they each depart for the west. Ifemelu heads for America,
