MS. LINDA ANDREWS
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Linda Andrews of Tampa, Florida, who passed on December 25th, 2019, will be held on Saturday, January 18th, 2020, at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, with Min- ister Ebou Howard, officiating.
Linda was a native of Savannah, Georgia and was educated in the public schools of Florida, graduat- ing with the Class of 1967 from Gibbs High School, St. Petersburg, Florida. Linda furthered her educa- tion and completed two years of col- lege at Stetson University in Deland, Florida. She served over 30 years as a mail clerk within the United States Postal Service and she was also a member of the American Postal Workers Union (AFL-CIO).
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Willie and Albertha An- drews; and sister, Bernice Green.
She leaves to cherish precious memories: her daughter, Shenea Andrews; sisters, Mae Hunter, Doris (David) McCullough, and Wanda (Charles) Jefferson; broth- ers, Clarence Andrews and Warren (Donna) Andrews; uncle, Arthur Crawford; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other rel- atives and friends.

MRS. VERNIE ‘FAYE’ BLACK
Mrs. Vernie “Faye” Black of Tampa, passed away Thursday, Jan- uary 9, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, Janu- ary 18th, at 2 p. m. at Abundant Life Worship Center, 8117 N. 13th St., Tampa, FL 33604, with Dr. Karen Barnes, Eulogist. Interment will fol- low in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Vernie “Faye” was a native of Perry, Georgia born to Jasper and Susie B. Postell. She later relocated to Tampa, FL, where she graduated from Franklin Adult High School in Hillsborough County.
She was married to the love of her life, the late Deacon Alfred Black, Jr., from April 24, 1976 until his death in 2014. To their union were born two offspring, Steven and Yolanda. Faye enjoyed caring for her home and family, and she did so with great skill and pride. Her pas- sion for children was in fact her mo- tivation for working in the Head Start Program, nurturing and train- ing little ones from various walks of life. Her grandchildren have also been blessed to experience her guid- ance and affection firsthand through the years.
While fiercely loyal to family, Vernie’s impact extended to friends, co-workers, and church members alike. Faye was among the most faithful and was a founding member of the Abundant Life Church, where served tirelessly as a Prayer War- rior, President of Hospitality, Sun- day School Superintendent, and Food Planner, to name a few of her roles.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and two brothers, James “Dude” Sutton and Jack Postell.
Left to cherish her memory are: her children, Yolanda “Yvette” Black and Steven B. Black; stepson, Regi- nald L. Black; sister, Nellie Chaney; grandchildren, Joshua, Shondrick, Steven, Jr., Tyteanna, and Kevin Black, Jeffrey and Jeremy Carlyle; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and other family members and friends.
The visitation will begin at 5 p. m. Friday, January 17, and the fam- ily will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MR. RALEIGH ‘BOB’ NELSON, JR.
Mr. Raleigh “Bob” Nelson, Jr., of Wimauma, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, January 18, at 1 p. m. at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 5909 Vel St., Wimauma, FL, with Reverend Deryl Jones, officiating. Interment will follow in Wimauma Community Ceme- tery.
Mr. Nelson was a lifelong native and resident of Wimauma for most of his life. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Sun City High School. He had a long-lasting career in mining at the chemical plants and was currently en- joying retirement after 40 years in the industry.
Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by: his parents, Raleigh Nelson, Sr., Willie Mae Wilcox and step-father, Lonnie Menzo Wilcox, Sr.; children, Riley Nelson, Sr. and Melanie Nelson; siblings, Leroy Nelson, Harold “Ray” Wilcox and Carolyn Wilcox Rhodes.
Cherishing memories of Bob are: his wife, Geneva Nelson; loving chil- dren, Randall Nelson (Denise), Sheryl McKinley (Earley), Roderick Nelson (Michelle), Keith Nelson, Kimberly Nelson, Cordell Nelson and Kenerick Nelson (Darlene); devoted siblings, Laura Ann Berrien, Phyllis Parker, Alvin Wilcox, Lonnie M. Wilcox, Jr., Peggy Wilcox, Alex Wilcox (Virginia), Patricia Roberson, Maxie Wilcox (Gertha), Robert Wilcox (Melissa), Theresa Wilcox, and Brianna Wilcox; beloved grandchildren, Dwayne Taylor, II, Ramon Wilcox-Nelson, Riley Nel- son, Jr., James Stephen, IV, Braeden “Riley” Nelson, Kaiymon Stephens, Kenyatta Stephens, Javion Stephens, Kanesha Taylor, Lisa Nelson, Erika Nelson, Brittany Nelson, Jalynn Stephens, Chandra Redfield and Bailee Nelson; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Oakley, Aniyah Wilson, Joshua Howard, Alaiza Banner and Denaye Nelson.
Also cherishing memories of Bob is his devoted friend, Betty Nichols of Lakeland, Florida; specials friends, Joe Don Carrie, Willie Lee Dexter, Herman Gay, II, Robert Berrien, Sr., Louis Cooper, Hazel Jackson, Leroy Bur- roughs and a large host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, who will miss him deeply.

MR. WILLIE FRANK DOE, JR.
Mr. Willie Frank Doe, Jr. of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 18 at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue, Reverend Dr. Rayford Harper, Pas- tor, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Willie Frank Doe, Jr. was a native of Hahira, Georgia and was ed- ucated in the public schools of Val- dosta, Georgia. He was a resident of Tampa, FL and retired as a Truck Driver from T & E Grading.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Nettie Mae Donaldson and Willie Frank Doe, Sr.; sisters, Nettie Lee Doe (New Orleans, LA), Zera Mae Hawkins (New Jersey), and Darlene Donaldson (Valdosta, GA); brothers, Mitchell Howard (Valdosta, GA), Bobby Doe, Jackie Doe, and Clifford Doe, Sr. (Valdosta, GA); three sisters- in-law, Erline Doe, Betty Mclain and Eddie Bell Jones of Valdosta, GA.

Mr. Edwin Steven Wilson of Odessa, Florida, passed away Tues- day, January 7, 2020. Mr. Edwin Steven Wilson was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida and he was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Mr. Wilson was a member of True Love M. B. Church and a Land- scaper.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Fannie Pearl Watson Wil- son; and daughter, Joann Pearl Wil- son.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Edwin S.
