Man Arrested For Bomb Threat At Walmart

For the second time in less than a week, someone has been arrested for making a bomb threat at Walmart. The incident took place at the Walmart at 153o2 N. Nebraska Avenue.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, just be- fore 5 p.m., Wednesday, a man was observed entering the Wal- mart store. He walked briskly and dropped a black and gray colored backpack just beyond the doors.
Employees noticed the bag and asked the man what was in- side it. He replied, “a bomb,” then quickly walked away from the bag. He then turned back and said, “it’s just a bag.”
He then walked through the store to shop. All three witnesses were in fear of their safety and no- tified police.
When deputies arrived, they interviewed 48-year-old. Marcus Dynell Woodard The bag was taken outside, where it was opened. Nothing suspicious was found in the bag.
Woodard was charged with false report of a bomb, explosive, or weapon of mass destruction.
