Remy Ma Shuts Down Nicki Minaj’s Album Sales Clap Back
Rich Homie
Quan Signs With Motown
Remy Ma vs. Nicki Minaj beef continues.
As the world waits for Nicki Minaj to attempt to save face after being annihi- lated by Remy Ma, the “ShETHER” victim has opted to clap back via tiny shots on social media.
After the track first dropped on Saturday, Minaj retali- ated by posting the numbers from Remy’s latest album sales, showing her latest sin-
gle with Fat Joe, “Plato O Plomo,” is struggling.
But Nicki left herself open to a vicious counterpunch, because “ShETHER” has been charting better on iTunes than Nicki’s latest feature on Gucci Mane’s track “Make Love,” which ironically in- cluded the original Remy dis that caused this entire blowup.
Jay Z will produce ‘In The Heights’ by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Jay Z continues to diversify his portfolio as part of his deal with The Weinstein Com- pany, which now includes a role as producer for the film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In The Heights musical.
According to Playbill, the an- nouncement was made by pro- ducers Harvey Weinstein and Scott Sanders at a pre- Oscars party Sunday (February 26) as a group of actors per- formed a medley of the songs
from the musical.
Miranda, who is widely
known for the success of his Hamilton musical, crafted In the Heights while in college. It first hit the stage off-Broadway in 2007 with Miranda in the lead role of Usnavi, a Domini- can store-owner in Washington Heights.
With the film adaptation, Miranda is not planning on reprising his role, but might join the cast as a different char- acter.

Veteran R&B duo TLC are getting ready to release their final album two years after fans helped them reach a funding goal online.
Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas achieved their Kick- starter goal back in 2015 and now the girls’ manager, Bill Diggins, has announced the finished result will be tenta- tively scheduled for a summer release.
Fans funded the project by making pledges online for au- tographed records and even a
movie night with Chilli or T- Boz, reaching the $150,000 goal in a week.
The funding continued and TLC closed down the fundraiser three weeks later after scoring over $430,000 in donations.
The release delay irked some fans who felt cheated and cre- ated a “#TLCIsGoingToJail- Party” hashtag on Twitter.
The new album will be the “No Scrubs” hitmakers’ first studio album since the death of bandmate Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes in 2002.
