MS. CALLIE SMITH
Ms. Callie Smith passed away on February 24, 2017 at a local health care facility. A homegoing service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11 a. m. at New Deliverance Taber- nacle, 3001 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, FL 33605, Pastor Bar- bara Moore, officiating. Inter- ment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Monday, March 6, 2017, 11:30 a.m.
Mrs. Smith was born in Campbellton, FL to the late Isaac Thompson and Margaret Jones Thompson. She worked as a sales associate at Learner’s Ladies Wear where she retired after many years.
She is survived by: daughter, Debra Monroe Hill; grand- daughter, Tanya Monroe Duke; grandson, Irvin K. Hill, Jr.; great granddaughters, Lannaya Hill and Mikayla Duke. She also leaves behind a host of broth- ers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Fri- day, March 3, 2017 at Jackson Funeral Home, 4605 N. 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, from 6p.m.to8p.m.Familyand friends are asked to assemble at 10:45 a. m. at the church lo- cated at 3001 N. 22nd Street.

MR. EDDIE B. JONES
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Eddie B. Jones, who passed away February 9, 2017, will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., with Pastor Otis Cooper officiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mr. Eddie B. Jones was born November 9, 1925 in Ash- burn, GA. He was a joy to have around and talk with. He was full of life and knowledge. Eddie B. lived a very carefree and full life. In his earlier years he was a part of a singing group that lasted a few years until they parted ways. He loved music and he also loved his family.
Eddie B. was a charismatic man who loved and lived life to the fullest. We were glad to have known such a man.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Vera Jones; father, John Jones; his mother, Artise Harris; and a son, Ernest Jones.
He leaves to cherish pre- cious memories with: his daughter, Mary McMahon (Glenn); his grandsons, Claude Johnson, Jr., William Pinkney (Kristy), Terrell Ryans, Kemah Reddick (Liz); his granddaugh- ters, Carol Sheppard Singletary (Marvin), Tineka Bell, Terlicia Lynn Winston (Adrian), Salethia Hickmon (Von). He also leaves behind: great grand- children, Sheldon Crawley, Sierra Crawley, Daniel Shep- pard, Michael Young, Marlon Singletary, D’Marrion Single- tary, Ronald Eugene Bell, 3rd, Jahlil Bell, Nazani Bell, William Pinkney, Jr., Jayden Pinkney, Brielle Pinkney, Ikeya Pinkney, Markevious Dellano, Kaymyla Hickmon, Eunami Hickmon, James Reddick, Hasson Red- dick, Jakemah Reddick, Jaquez Reddick, and a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives.

MRS. ALWILLA T. GREEN-MERRITT
A celebration of life for Mrs. Alwilla T. Green-Merritt, who passed February 23, at a local health care facility will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10 a. m. at Rivers of Life Church Ministries, 301 Lakewood Drive Brandon, FL 33510, Pas- tor Carlos A. Swafford, presid- ing.
Alwilla T. Green-Merritt was born in Donalsonville, GA to the late Andrew Allen, Vester Green and Carithie Green on July 11, 1937. Alwilla met and married her true love Homer Merritt and they lived in loving bliss until his death.
Alwilla always dreamed of becoming a “tailor.” She at- tended Carter Parramore High School in Quincy, FL. She then attended FAMU in Tallahassee, FL where her dream was ful- filled. Her wonderful work landed her a job with Big and Tall Men’s Clothing Store as a tailor. Later Alwilla become the manager of one of the stores in Tampa. She worked there until she retired.
As her health began to fail Alwilla relocated in order to be close to her caregiver. Her last year of life was one of joy, fun, humor, happiness, and church. She became one with God as a youth and became a member of Rivers of Life in 2015. Early in the morning of February 23, 2017, Alwilla was welcomed into the mansion Jesus prepared for all of her.
Preceding her in death was: brothers, Carl Green, Andrew Allen, Jr., Clarence Edwards, and Charles Edwards.
Those remaining to cherish her memories are: uncles, Willie Reeves and Jessie Allen; aunt, Martha Gaymon; sisters, Gwendolyn Williams, Sonja D. Brenton, Baby Doll Miller; brother, Abdul-Karim, Sharif Muhammad and Henry Artis; others left to cherish her mem- ories consist of a host of nieces, cousins, nephews, and

On Sunday, February 19th, 2017, Ms. Deborah Kaye Jenkins transitioned to her heavenly home. The homegoing service of Mrs. Jenkins will be conducted on Saturday, March 4th, 2017, 2 p. m. at Mount Tabor Mission- ary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, with Pastor T. D. Leonard, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memo- rial Cemetery.
Ms. Jenkins was born to the late Deacon Arizona and Sister Anna Mae Jenkins. She was a resident of Tampa throughout her life. She was educated in the local schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Plant High School in 1972. Ms. Jenk- ins was a very devoted member of Mt. Tabor M. B. Church, serv- ing there since her youth. She was a member of the youth choir, Sunday School, Baptist Teacher’s Union, pianist and a member of Choir # Three Adult Choir.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Deacon Arizona and Sister Anna Mae Jenkins; brother, Arizona Jenkins, Jr.; sisters, Gwendolyn Carter and Janice Ruth Jenkins; niece, Erica Nicole Jenkins and cousin, George Carter, III.
She leaves to cherish many beautiful memories to: her son, David Keith Jenkins and wife, Jackie Jenkins; daughter, Diet- rich V. Jenkins; grandchildren, Brandi Jenkins, Jamal Jenkins, Courtni Jenkins, David Jenkins, Jr., Evin Jenkins, Malachi Jenk- ins, Denisha Jenkins, and Ricky Phillips; great-grandchildren, Da’Vion Crawford and Torra’Nate Jenkins; sister, Nancy Miller; brothers, William “Billy’ Jenkins, and Thaddeus O. Jenkins and wife, Alphanette; aunt, Gloria Brown (Charles); uncle, Charles Sherry; as well as a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

SISTER CYNTHIA FAYE LEWIS
Sister Cynthia Faye Lewis of Tampa passed away Sunday, Feb- ruary 26, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 4, at 11 a. m. at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, with Pastor T. D. Leonard, Pas- tor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sister Cynthia Faye Lewis was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. She was edu- cated by the local schools of Hills- borough County. She was converted at an early age at Mount Tabor M. B. Church which she loved and especially was loved by the Women Intermedi- ate Auxiliary and her best friend, Tresa Clark.
She was preceded in death by: her loving parents, Earl and Marie Lewis, Sr.; and one brother, Waymond.
She leaves to cherish her lov- ing memories: her siblings, Gwendolyn Curry (Troy), Clara Davis (Lucious), Cheryl Green- wood (Larry) of New York City, NY, Earl Lewis, Jr. (Lisa) of St. Petersburg, FL, Ronald Lewis (Nadine), Janice Greene (Clan- nie), Nathaniel Lewis (Josephine), Angelina Lewis and Mornina Lewis; aunts, Louise Lewis, Ann Tramel, Laurine Ja- cobs (Virgil), Ophelia Saffold (Ul- ysess), Anita Warren and Wilma Warren; and a host of other sor- rowful nieces, nephews, rela- tives, and friends.
