Pranksters Activate Fire Extinguisher At Movie Theater
On February 25th, the fire extinguisher at the Regal Cit- rus Park, 7999 Citrus Park Town Center Mall was acti- vated.
After the fire extinguisher was activated, it caused the theater to fill with carbon
dioxide.
Several movie patrons at-
tempted to exit the theater, but were unable to open the door because it had been bar- ricaded, police said.
The patrons were able to leave the theater by using the
emergency exit. Police were unable to obtain any suspect information from the video.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200.
