Police have arrested an 82-year-old man in connec- tion with a fatal shooting. The incident took place Christmas night at his Plant City residence.
Guy Richard Vickery
was charged with manslaughter with a weapon. He is currently being held without bond.
According to police, deputies responded to the residence at 2727 Forbes Road after receiving a 9-1-1

call about a shooting. When they arrived at the home, Vickery reportedly told them he had shot his son, 50- year-old Benjamin Vick- ery.
Benjamin Vickery was transported to South Florida Baptist Hospital, where he died as a result of his in- juries.
The father told police that the two men had been in- volved in an argument. The investigation is continuing.
Police Identify Teen Who Died In Accidental Shooting
The St. Petersburg Polcie Department has identified the teenager killed Sunday after she was struck by a bul- let while in a car. The inci- dent took place near the intersection of Central Av- enue and 58th Street.
According to the St. Pe- tersburg Police Department,
was accidentally shot shortly before 2:30 a.m. Ms. Loper was sitting in the front seat of the vehicle. Her friend, Ms. Jessica Perry, 21, was seated in the backseat with the loaded gun when it acci- dentally discharged.
Ms. Loper was trans- ported to a local hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
Police arrested Ms. Perry, of St. Petersburg, and charged her with manslaugh- ter.
The investigation is con- tinuing.

Accident
Couple Die In Single- Car Traffic Accident
Police have released the names of a man and his wife who were killed in a traffic accident Christmas Eve, shortly after 2 a.m. The acci- dent took place on the I-275 exit ramp to the westbound Courtney Campbell Cause- way.
According to Tampa Po- lice, Tong Lee, 34, and Ms. Allyce Reetz, 34, both of Clearwater, were in a 2016 Toyota Camry. Lee was the driver.
The vehicle was traveling on Memorial Highway at-
tempting to travel west on the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Lee was unable to negotiate the curve in the road. The vehicle left the roadway and struck the over- pass. Upon impact, it burst into flames.
Lee was able to crawl out of the vehicle, but died as a result of his injuries. Ms. Reetz, who was Lee’s wife, also died of her injuries.
Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash. The investigation continues, police said.
