Queen Latifah Building $14M ‘Affordable’ Housing Project In Newark
Jesse Williams’ Ex-Wife Seeking
Hip-hop icon Queen Lati- fah is putting on her developer hat and returning to her home- town of Newark to build a new affordable housing complex.
According to published re- ports, the $14 million project is expected to break ground this summer along Springfield Av- enue and South 17th, NJ.com reports. The outlet notes that the property will “include 23 family townhomes, 16 addi- tional smaller units, a fitness center and a commercial space that will be rented to non-prof- its.”
Latifah is a co-president of BlueSugar Corporation, which has partnered with GonSosa Development on the project.
while the rents for the market rate units will start around $1,800 a month.
“BlueSugar and GS Devel- opers share the belief that de- cent, affordable housing should be available to everyone regardless of their financial sit- uation,” said Cristina Pin- zon, a spokesperson for the developers. “The principals in both companies have strong connections to Newark and the surrounding area and have seen this need firsthand. They understand how difficult it is to make ends meet for many residents and want to be part of the solution. They remain dedicated to making life better in communities like Newark.”

Aryn Drake-Lee, the ex- wife of Jesse Williams, is seeking more than $600,000 in back child support and more than $250,000 in retroactive spousal support. She has agreed that when the back pay- ments are made she will signif- icantly reduce her $50K monthly spousal support.
In court documents ob- tained by The Blast, the pair is back in court with Drake-Lee asking that the Grey’s Anatomy star continue paying $50,000 a month in child sup- port, which she says he can af- ford due to his hit show. She did, however, recommend cut- ting her spousal support pay- ment from $50k monthly down to $29,918, which would be paid until at least 2020.
Still, this doesn’t take into account the months he fell be- hind in payment while they were in court. In total, Drake- Lee is seeking $637,605 in back child support and $251,602 in retroactive

spousal support.
In the document, Drake-
Lee also states that Jesse is inconsistent with their child custody schedule. She accused him of often canceling his time with his kids and asking to make up the time later and using work as an excuse, ac- cording to Bossip. She added that the schedule has caused a lack of stability for their kids who “often do not know from day to day whether Petitioner [Jesse] will be exercising time.”

Rihanna Confirms She's Still The NBA's Best Superfan
Rihanna reminded every- one that she is the NBA’s fore- most super fan when she watched a Lakers game in Los Angeles on Thursday night, where she cheered on her fa- vorite player, LeBron James as he possibly, likely helped lead his team to a victory over the Houston Rockets, although some might argue that it was Rihanna’s attendance that secured the win, as her pres- ence has seemingly brought James’ teams good luck in the past.
The singer and beauty mogul, who celebrated her 31st birthday on Wednesday, sported a Lakers jersey with LeBron’s number on it to show her support, although it

appears that the Lakers were so grateful that Rihanna blessed them with her pres- ence, that they made her her own official jersey with her In- stagram name on it.
This isn’t the first time that
Rihanna has shown up to rally for James; in the past, she’s been such an enthusias- tic fan of the NBA star that she trash talked Kevin Durant from the sidelines and dabbed on an opposing fan.

Eminem Shatters Attendance Record: 81,000 Aussie Fans Join Together For ‘Lose Yourself’
Fabolous Accepts Plea
Eminem's tour of Aus- tralia has been eventful, to say the least. The venerable Hip- Hop megastar is attracting record crowds decades into his illustrious career. This past week we reported the in- cidence of a little hate-mon- gering at Em's Brisbane concert. As the crowd jeered the Detroit-born rapper to perform "Killshot" but he kindly rejected. "I would but I don't want to give that cock- sucker any more fuc*ing light," he exclaimed. "Make some noise for your-fuc*in- selves and make nothing for MGK."

Fabolous is reportedly planning to accept a plea deal in the alleged domestic assault of his now-wife Emily B. Ac- cording to Bossip, Fab ap- peared in Bergen Superior Court on January 28 with his attorney Brian Neary.
Neary asked prosecutors for more time to finalize the de- tails, however, the veteran rap- per will avoid jail time if he completes violence prevention workshops for the next six to 12 months.
As part of the deal, Fab would plead guilty to either one count of felony brandishing of a weapon or threatening do- mestic violence. It’s unclear at

this point which one he will cop to under the new plea deal.
If Fab stays out of trouble, the charges will be expunged from his criminal record.
