Aaron Boone said Satur- day that Aaron Hicks was un- derrated. Monday morning, Hicks and the Yankees agreed to a seven-year, $70 million ex- tension that will keep him off the free-agent market.

Draymond Green Close To Hiring Rich Paul As His Agent
DRAYMOND GREEN
Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is close to hiring Rich Paul of Klutch Sports as his basketball repre- sentation, league sources said.
At the conclusion of this season, the three-time All-Star will have a year remaining on the five-year, $82M contract he signed in 2015.

Paul has added All-Star Anthony Davis, Markieff and Marcus Morris, and Green to his company’s roster in the last six months.
Paul also represents Le- Bron James, John Wall, Ben Simmons, Tristan Thompson and Eric Bled- soe, among others.

Jussie Smollett Did
Great Damage to
Black, LGBT Causes
Charles Barkley
seemed crestfallen Friday night over Jussie Smollett, lamenting how he betrayed the black and LGBTQ com- munities.
The famed commentator was at the 1818 Club in At- lanta on his way out of Ric Flair's 70th birthday party, and he had some sobering thoughts about the "Empire" actor ... whom he calls tal- ented but also someone who lost his way, causing "immea- surable damage."
Barkley was much more serious than he was Friday, when he joked about Jussie on "Inside the NBA," when he suggested if the Jussie really wanted to be a hate crime vic- tim, he should have just gone
CHARLES BARKLEY
to Liam Neeson's neigh- borhood.
As for Barkley's serious comments, he's part of an ever-increasing chorus of people who feel Jussie did great damage. Jussie vehe- mently denies concocting the story.
Kyler Murray Squashes Any Idea Of Football Flip-Flop
KYLER MURRAY
Kyler Murray made his decision and he’s sticking to
it.
The Oklahoma quarter-
back said at a press confer- ence on Saturday it was “obviously hard” to tell the A’s he would not be playing baseball, but it hasn’t changed his stance on choos- ing to give the NFL a try. The A’s still retain his baseball rights after drafting him ninth overall last year, but Murray has no plans to go back on his decision.
The Heisman Trophy winner did praise Oakland for how they handled him
during the Sooners’ season, which ended with a loss to Alabama in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.
“That organization, being with the A’s, was the best possible situation for me just because they were so great throughout the football sea- son, kind of leaving me alone and letting me do my own thing, and at the same time letting me know how much I meant to them and that type of stuff,” said Murray, who was honored during the first half of Saturday’s Oklahoma- Texas basketball game. “Telling them was tough.”
