Robby Anderson Has
Thurman Thomas To Have No. 34 Jersey Retired by Bills
THURMAN THOMAS
The Buffalo Bills will be re- tiring their third jersey number in franchise history this season, and frankly it seems long over- due.
Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas, who spent 12 seasons with the Bills from 1988-1999, is set to be honored prior to the team’s Oct. 29 game against the New England Patriots.
His No. 34 jersey will join Jim Kelly’s No. 12 and Bruce Smith’s No. 78 as the only jer- seys the Bills have retired.
Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas Commit To Jack Nicklaus' Memorial
Resisting Arrest Charges
Tiger Woods made offi- cial his commitment to the Me- morial Tournament on Wednesday, adding Jack Nicklaus' annual tournament to his schedule in what is ex- pected to be a final event prior to the U.S. Open.
Woods, 42, who is coming off a tie for 11th at the Players Championship on Sunday, has won the Memorial five times, most recently in 2012. It is also where he shot his highest score as a pro, an 85 during the third round of the 2015 tournament, his last appearance.
This will be his 16th start in the tournament.
No. 1-ranked Justin Thomas also gave a commit- ment to the tournament, which is May 31-June 3 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio.
Woods has played eight times this year on the PGA Tour, having made the cut in seven events and posting four top-12 finishes, including two

New York Jets wide re- ceiver Robby Anderson was facing charges in two separate incidents as of this week, but he now only has one case to worry about.
Anderson’s attorney, Ed O’Donnell, said on Wednes- day that the felony resisting arrest with violence charge that Anderson was facing from an alleged scuffle with an officer a year ago has been dropped.

At the Players, Woods
opened with scores of 72-71 to barely make the cut, then shot 65-69 on the weekend, briefly pulling within 4 shots of even- tual winner, Webb Simpson on the back nine before drop- ping back.
Woods will be paired with Peyton Manning during the Memorial Tournament's offi- cial Pro-Am on May 30. Man- ning and Woods first paired up on the golf course in 2009 during the pro-am at the Quail Hollow Championship in Charlotte, N.C.
Jason Witten Believes Dez Bryant Will End Up With Packers
If the first bold prediction Jason Witten has made since he retired from football becomes a reality, Aaron Rodgers is going to have an- other new weapon to throw to this upcoming season.
In an appearance on “The Adam Schefter Podcast” on Monday, Witten was asked for his thoughts on former teammate Dez Bryant still being a free agent. The Pro Bowl tight end said he believes Bryant is going to sign with the Green Bay Packers.
“I think Dez is certainly going to have plenty of oppor- tunities,” Witten said. “He’s motivated, and I think he’s

going to end up going to the Green Bay Packers. I think that’s a great spot for him.
Aaron Rodgers throws that back-shoulder throw well, and Dez (would have) great chemistry with a quarterback who can put the ball wherever he wants.”
Jay Ajayi Sued For Allegedly Trashing Mansion, Shoving Owner
Jay Ajayi is being ac- cused of partying a little too hard after the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl back in February, and it is one of the reasons the running back is being sued for thou- sands of dollars.
According to a lawsuit ob- tained by a source, the owner of a mansion in Los Angeles is seeking $25,000 in damages from Ajayi after the 24-year- old and a friend allegedly trashed the place while stay- ing there for five days after the Super Bowl.
The suit says the renters were specifically told they were prohibited from throw- ing parties and were charged a $5,000 each time they threw one. They supposedly hosted three and never paid.
The owner claims Ajayi and his friends broke a table, scratched some floors and did not respect the no smoking policy.

In addition, the man who filed the suit says Ajayi “pushed [him] on [his] chest in a menacing and threaten- ing manner” when he con- fronted the NFL star about the damage on Feb. 18.
The property owner said he had to call security to have Ajayi escorted from the premises.
Ajayi wasted no time tak- ing a shot at his former coach after he helped the Eagles win a championship, so you know he was flying high like the rest of his teammates. Unfortu- nately, it sounds like he had a bit too much fun.
