Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi To Give $50,000 In Scholarship Money To 5 Students; Touring With Wiz Khalifa
Nicki Minaj Shooting New Film With Tina Fey; To Appear Together On ‘SNL’ Saturday
Graduation season may be underway, but Rae Srem- murd’s Slim Jxmmi is plan- ning to set some current college students with a nice check to put towards their edu- cation. The rapper recently an- nounced his Jxm Scholarship, which will award $10K to 5 lucky students.
In total, Slim Jxmmi will be giving away $50,000. While it’s unclear how Slim Jxmmi and his team will determine the winners, he mentioned in a video that he shared on Insta- gram on Sunday (May 13), that he will select the five students in July 2018.

The tour will come to Tampa on August 16.

Nicki Minaj has a lot more planned outside of just music in 2018. In an Instagram post from Tuesday (May 15), she said she’ll start shooting a new film titled Get Ya Life Ugly with Tina Fey after Sat- urday.
So far, there aren’t any de- tails regarding the plot, release
date or actual existence of the film.
NBC had announced that Minaj and Fey are set to close out Saturday Night Live‘s 43rd season on Saturday (May 19).
This will be Fey’s sixth time hosting and Minaj’s third time as the musical guest.

Questlove To Curate Tribute Tour In Honor Of Prince
The Prince Estate has greenlit a tribute tour in honor of the late music icon titled 4U: A Symphonic Cele- bration Of Prince.
Curated by The Roots’ drummer Questlove, the set will be performed by the Wolf Trap Orchestra with addi- tional contributions from a live band and several vocal- ists.
They will reimagine a mix- ture of Prince’s classic songs and deeper cuts pulled from his expansive catalog.
According to the tour web- site, “4U will present the music of Prince like never before, with a full orchestra ...

Questlove is a well- known fan of The Purple One and upon the singer’s
2016 death, Quest wrote a detailed Instagram post out- lining what made Prince Hip Hop.
