MS. JUANZA MICHELLE BURNEY
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Juanza Michelle Burney of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, will be held Saturday, May 19th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The in- terment will be Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Juanza Michelle Burney was born June 4, 1971 in Tampa, Florida, to Bobby C. Burney and the late Debra Ann Desseau-Milton. She enjoyed poetry writing, singing and fashion. Juanza was affiliated with Vision of Life Ministry in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Ann Desseau- Milton.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her daughter, Mar’Kierra Mone’ Burney, Joseph Anthony Rolfe, III and Eric Collier Poole; grandchildren, Mckenzie Bridges, Kendall Couch, Javian Rolfe-Alaverz, Joseph Anthony Rolfe, IV and Joel Rolfe; father, Bobby C. Burney, Sr.; grand- mother, Othelia Burney; brothers, Bobby C. Annie was born on April 15, 1925 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Eunice McCray, Sr. and Geneva Brown. She was a member of First Union M. B. Church and loved making people laugh. She enjoyed cooking, decorating, and spending time with family and friends.
Annie was preceded in death by: her husband, Walter Payne.

MR. RICHARD DANIEL ROBINSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Richard Daniel Robinson of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018, will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 10 a. m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Ellicott Street, Tampa, FL 33610, Rev. Larry J. Mouton, Jr., pastor with Rev. Bruce Bryan, eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Richard was born September 20, 1952, in Tampa, Florida’s West Hyde Park area. He was the sixth child born of George Allen and Jessie Hartsfield Robinson, Sr. Richard grew up in Tampa and grad- uated from H. W. Blake High School, where he studied wood shop and masonry and played in the marching, concert and jazz bands. Richard went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Florida A & M University, majoring in Mechani- cal Engineering.
While at FAMU, he continued his love of music as a member of the FAMU Marching 100 and touring with the Devastations Band. He spent part of his career at the Tampa Housing Authority, but for over 25 years, he was employed with Griener Engineering. At Griener, later known as URS, he was instru- mental in getting many graduating engineers at FAMU hired.
Richard had his own company where he remodeled many buildings throughout Florida. He was a life- long student of his trade and en- joyed mentoring high school students for college and college stu- dents for life.
Richard loved his children, Richard H. Robinson and Chelsa (Robinson) Salley. A lover of travel- ing, Richard often went with them all over the world. He was often seen with his grandchildren, who truly held a special place in Richard’s heart. Richard was a faithful mem- ber of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where he sang in the Men’s Choir and held a position of secre- tary. He also traveled with the Blake High School Class of ’70 and was a bowler for over 20 years. A die-hard Rattler, he attended many FAMU football games. Richard left this world on May 4, 2018, to meet his Lord and Savior.
This earth has lost a true soldier and will be forever be missed by: his children, Richard H. (Lasheka) Robinson and Chelsa (David) Salley. He will also be missed by: his broth- ers and sister, George A. Robinson, Jr., Gloria R. Green, Walter (Mary) Robinson, Lorenzo (Virginia) Robinson and Lawrence (Darlene) Robinson; grandchildren, David Robinson, Joshua Hall, Jeremiah Sheppard, Kayin Salley, Ja’Laya Robinson and Jocelyn Robinson; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Robin- son, Jordan Robinson and Daniel Lee Robinson; special friends, Er- sula Odom and Linda Letzkus; a host of nieces and nephews, New Hope Church members, class mem- bers and fellow Rattlers.

MRS. ETHEL MARIE HEARNS SCOTT
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Ethel Marie Hearns Scott of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, will be held Saturday, May 19th at 2 p. m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 East Ellicott St., Tampa, FL 33610, Rev. Larry J. Mouton, Jr., pastor, with Min. James Richardson, eulogist. The interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
On October 10, 1943 Ethel was born in Greenwood, Florida to the late Clem and Essie Mae Hearns. She was the eldest daughter. She attended Union Grove School in Jackson County. She was a dedi- cated member of New Hope M. B. Church, where she was a member of the adult choir and kitchen min- istry. Sister Scott loved her church and she loved to sing. She retired from Hillsborough County School Board as a cafeteria cook at Foster Academy.
Ethel and her family lived on Boca Grande Island, where she worked for Frank Oliver, journal- ist, as a maid, cooking and prepar- ing exquisite gourmet meals for dinner parties for him and his wife. She was an elegant and smart lady. She loved her family and she en- joyed traveling. She was also a jokester and said funny things to make people laugh, she was the life of the party and lived a great life. If you asked her how she was doing she would say, “I’m fine, my daugh- ter, Valerie and my son, Jackie take good care of me, I love my chil- dren.” She will be laid to rest next to her devoted husband, the late Roosevelt Scott, Sr. (the love of her life) and her baby son, Lionel Scott.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Roosevelt Scott, Jr.; sis- ter, Viola Dupont; brother, Robert Hearns; her first love, Jackie ‘s fa- ther, Monroe Wilson; granddaugh- ter, Jalisa; daughter-in-law Sonia Green-Scott; and her special and dear friends, Roy Cyler and Samuel Jordan, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: two children, Jackie Hearns and Valerie Cherry of Tampa; sister, Willie Ann Miller (TJ); brother, Jimmy Dupont; grandchildren, Steffen and Bran- don Hearns (mother, Tammy) Tara and Roosevelt Scott, III (mother, Sonia), Carl and Michelle Oliver (mother, Yvonne), Tisha (Nicholas), Colen, Calvin and Key- onnie (mother, Iris); Tara Harris- Scott; two nieces dear to her heart, Angela and Samantha Mays; spe- cial cherished friendships, Barbara Jordan (Sam) and Dorothy Goins (Charles); sister-in-law, Florita Lovett and Linda Burke; loving ex son-in-law, Reuben Cherry; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.

Deaconess Lurline Davis, 89, Homemaker, Plant City, passed away on May 9, 2018. Viewing will be Sat. 11 a. m.-12 p.m. Service will follow at 12 p.m. All services will be held at Allen Chapel A. M. E. Church in Plant City. Coney Fu- neral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Deaconess Davis departed this life on May 9, 2018 at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Florida. She was born to the late Mike and Corene Wadsworth in Plant City on April 22, 1929. She became a member of Allen Chapel A. M. E. Church at an early age, and remained faithful until her death. She was a Trustee, Stew- ardess, Steward, and on the Pas- tor’s Aide Board, and the Richard Allen Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Davis, Sr.; parents, Mike and Lurline Wadsworth; daughter, Paulette Murray; granddaughter, Maria Davis; great-grandson, Nikosi Williams; and brothers, Arthur Wadsworth and Edward Wadsworth.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Gwen- dolyn D. Barnes ( John), Fayeshawn D.
