Horoscopes
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): Mercury is retrograde in your sign. You have been feeling this and you will continue to feel it throughout Au- gust. Many minor frustrations will occur. Expect problems with email, cell phones and communications. Transportation difficulties, delays and misplaced items are classic. Courage!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): The next few weeks are excellent for research because you will find it easier to go back in the past for solu- tions to old problems or answers to old questions. It will be surpris- ingly easy to do this. This is one of the advantages of Mercury retrograde. Use it!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): You are a social sign and old friends are back in your world again. Enjoy discussions about the bad old days and a chance to trade lies. Likewise, you might be involved again with a group from your past or members of a group you have not seen for a while. It’s old home week!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Many of you will deal with past events regarding parents, bosses and authority figures. You might also meet parents and bosses from your past who you have not seen for a while or you might have to deal with old issues once again.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): In the next month, you will make headway if you have to finish writing a book or major paper. You will more easily finish studying something because of Mercury retro- grade. You might also hear from people from your past who you met traveling in foreign countries.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): The next several weeks are per- fect to wrap up financial matters, inheritances, shared property, taxes and debt. This is because of Mercury retrograde. During a window of Mercury retrograde, it’s easier to finish old business than to begin new business.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): For the next several weeks, Mer- cury is retrograde opposite your sign, which means you will hear from partners and old friends. Memories from the past will surface. Expect moments of deja vu. (Some will even experience vuja de — that’s where you have a memory of something that never happened. Surprisingly common!).
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): Double check details at work be- cause in the next few weeks, Mercury retrograde will cause errors, mixed-up communications, misplaced paperwork, delays, canceled ap- pointments and general confusion. These things will be minor, but they will be frustrating. Oy vey.
Aries (March 21-April 19): Old flames might be back in your life. This could be exciting (or definitely not). You will find it easier to finish creative projects. Past issues with children might be back on your plate again. Double check details for social plans because glitches are likely.
Taurus (April 20-May 20): For the next few weeks, you will be more involved with family. You will see family members you haven’t seen for a while. For some, family will be camped out on your doorstep and sleeping on your sofa. Family reunions are likely.
Gemini (May 21-June 20): Life will be hectic in the next few weeks because your ruler Mercury is retrograde. This creates trans- portation delays, confused communications, canceled appointments, delays and the frustration of late deliveries. Oy vey. Cope as best you can.
Cancer (June 21-July 22): Checks in the mail will be late in the next month. Financial arrangements could be temporarily stalled in the water or slow to get off the ground. The good news is old business will flow more easily. You might also find something that you lost. “My earring!”
