The Middleton High School Classes of 1972 and 1973 didn’t get to enjoy their high school proms as they had wanted. Forced inte- gration and bussing thrust them into schools where they felt there was no connection.
Just recently, Joseph Garvin came up with the idea of hav- ing the prom that the 2 classes did not get to have. Elegant Events hosted the prom on June 29th at the Tampa Heights Junior Civic Center.
Class members who participated on the program were: Al- bertine Joyner, Joseph Garvin, Belinda Roberts and Olivia Flowers. (Photographs by Frederick Harris)
Alfred Pyles and Barbara West-Shazer were named King and Queen of the Class of 1972.
