Rental Assistance For Veterans
HUD-VASH is a collabora- tive program between The Tampa Housing Authority and the Veteran’s Administra- tion that provides housing vouchers to eligible veterans. The housing vouchers with the VA’s supportive services help Veterans and their fami- lies who are homeless find and sustain permanent hous- ing.
Veterans are qualified through the VA then referred
to the Tampa Housing Au- thority to receive a Housing Choice Voucher. The Housing Choice Voucher provides op- portunity for the veteran to become stably housed on a long-term basis.
If you are a veteran and be- lieve you may be eligible to re- ceive rental assistance, please contact Margaret Jones by phone at 813-253- 0551 ext. 1470 or via email at Mar- garet.Jones@thafl.com.
