Idris Elba Says #MeToo Movement Is ‘Only Difficult If You’re A Man With
Drake & Migos' Tour Grossed $79 Million
   Something To Hide’
Despite a canceled show and numerous delayed starts, the Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour has raked in a re- ported $79 million USD. Ac- cording to Pollstar, Drake and Migos joint tour has made its way to the top ten top-grossing North American tours list with 43 dates met and 678,410 tickets sold.
Although it introduced special guests like Chris

Brown and Drake’s once adversary Meek Mill, the act wasn’t able to top Taylor Swift’s 2,168,707 tickets sold or Ed Sheeran’s num- ber one spot at 4,860,482 tickets sold last year. Drake previously entered the list alongside Future for their Summer Sixteen Tour in 2016, where they pulled in $84 million USD over 54 dates
Idris Elba has been espe- cially on in the last few months. He’s been named- People’s Sexiest Man Alive; his daughter has been an- nounced as the next Golden Globes ambassador; and he’s poised to release the next season of his hit BBC se- ries, Luther, which he has lovingly referred to in the past as his James Bond. He’s firing on all cylinders.
Which means he’s just about at the point where an overload of publicity would normally lead to some sort of misstep or gaffe. Except, maybe not this time. In a re- cent interview with The Sun- day Times, the actor was asked if it’s hard to be a man in Hollywood now due to the #MeToo movement, which has led to a broader reckon- ing against sexual miscon- duct. Plenty of actors have been asked something simi- lar, and many have re- sponded with statements that ended up necessitating

apologies from Matt Damon to Henry Cavill.
But Elba? He had this to say in response: “It’s only dif- ficult if you’re a man with something to hide.”
Simple as that. His com- ment quickly made the rounds online, earning praise from the likes of Shonda Rhimes and Valerie Jar- rett.

The film industry is reeling from one of its biggest losses in 2018 after Emmy award- winning actress, pioneering film director and producer Penny Marshall died on Monday (Dec. 17) at age 75.
Marshall’s work and con- nection to the Hip Hop com- munity apparently resonates just as deep.

cancer in 2009.
As the sister of Hollywood
juggernaut Garry Mar-
shall, Penny was famous for her snarky demeanor and one-liner jokes, laidback drawl and as a die-hard sports fan who was fre- quently spotted on televised NBA and MLB games.
The outpouring of condo- lences and shared memories of the Bronx, New York na- tive came from several Hip Hop legends including Rus- sell Simmons, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Snoop Dogg, film director Ava DuVer- nay, Bow Wow and Crazy Legs of the Rocky Steady Crew on social media.

T-Pain’s Ex-Manager Accuses Him Of Blowing Millions
T-Pain Auto-Tuned his way out of poverty a long time ago, but if his ex-man- ager is telling the truth, the Florida-bred superstar needs to put himself on a budget. According to The Blast, Chase Management says Mr. Tallahassee Pain has “squandered” millions of dol- lars over the course of his ca- reer.
The veteran singer/rapper filed a lawsuit against Chase earlier this year accusing them of illegally taking com- mission, but on December 11, the company decided to countersue T-Pain for al- legedly cheating them out of

money they’re owed for a post-termination manage- ment commission.
Chase says T-Pain origi- nally breached their deal by
refusing to pay their commis- sions. The deal reportedly states once their contract was terminated, Chase would still be able to collect commis- sions for five years after the termination.
Since the termination, T- Pain has incurred music publishing royalties with Universal Music, a recording artist agreement with RCA for a five-album deal, $2 mil- lion advance paid to by Uni- versal, digital royalties and many other alleged deals.
Chase is suing for approx- imately $1 million dollars in damages and denies any wrongdoing.
