SERENA WILLIAMS
Potentially Acquiring Davis:
That Would Be Amazing
LeBron James would be in favour of the Los Angeles Lakers acquiring New Or- leans Pelicans star Anthony Davis.
The Lakers have been sav- ing their assets and are con- sidering attempting to deal for the 25-year-old big man, according to a report from ESPN last week.
James discussed those trade rumours before Los An- geles faced the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.
"That would be amazing," James told ESPN. "That would be amazing, like, duh. That would be incredible."
Davis, one of the best players in the NBA, is averag- ing 28 points, 12.4 rebounds

the five-year, $145 million ex- tension he signed in June 2015. But, Davis can opt out of that deal after 2019-20 and become a free agent.
The Lakers fell to the Nets 115-110 on Tuesday. The loss dropped them to 18-13 this season.
Serena Williams’ cat- suit sparked controversy ear- lier this year, but now the black spandex outfit is offi- cially permitted on the ten- nis court.
Last week, the Women’s Tennis Association clarified its stance on dress code poli- cies, stating that players can wear leggings and compres- sion shorts without a skirt.
“Though the WTA had no rule explicitly prohibiting a player from wearing leggings without a skirt, the Board of Directors approved language making the Tour’s position regarding such attire explic- itly clear: Leggings and mid- thigh-length compression shorts may be worn with or
without a skirt, shorts, or dress,” the WTA wrote on its website.
While the association didn’t specifically refer to 37- year-old Williams, it in- cluded a photograph of her playing tennis above the pol- icy.
In May, Williams wore a black bodysuit at the French Open, where she pulled out with an injury be- fore the fourth round. Williams said she wore the compression suit because of a history of blood clots, in- cluding after childbirth.
Williams reportedly said the sleek Nike catsuit made her feel like a “warrior princess.”
Serena And Venus Williams's Father
Left Severely Disabled By Series Of
Strokes As He Fights Ex-Wife For House
Serena and Venus Williams’s father Richard has suffered a series of strokes which have left him barely able to speak, accord- ing to court documents he filed in Florida to argue that his ex-wife has unlawfully taken over his home.
Richard Williams, 76, has accused his ex-wife Lakeisha, 38, of taking ad- vantage of his diminished ca- pacities to transfer the home they shared to her name, and claims she forged his signa- ture on the mortgage docu- ments.
In court papers filed on November 27, he showed ex- amples of his signature from 2002 and the 2017 docu- ment, in an attempt to prove the difference.
Richard Williams, pictured with his daughters, Serena and Venus, is now in ill health.
The couple filed for di- vorce in 2017, after seven years of marriage. They have a six-year-old son, Dylan.
Mr. Williams claims his former wife transferred the deed for one of his homes in
Palm Beach, Florida, to her- self without his permission and then took out a $152,000 mortgage from an associate, David Simon, using Mr. Williams' forged signature.
