Blue Ivy Carter Sweetly Asks LeBron James For A Signed Basketball After Lakers Defeat The Clippers
Harvey Weinstein Sentenced To 23 Years In Prison
       JAY-Z AND BLUE IVY
Blue Ivy Carter is a big Le- Bron James fan!
After watching the Los Ange- les Lakers defeat the Los Ange- les Clippers at the Staples Center on Sunday night with her dad, JAY-Z, the 8-year-old bashfully approached the star basketball player to ask for an autographed basketball.
In footage shared by ESPN, Blue can be seen joining her dad to congratulate James
BLUE IVY AND LEBRON JAMES
Harvey Weinstein will spend 23 years in a New York State prison after being sentenced by Supreme Court Judge James Burke on Wednesday morning.
Weinstein was convicted Feb. 24 of committing a criminal sex- ual act in the first degree and third-degree rape.
The sentencing ends Wein- stein's New York trial, which began Jan. 6. His team has said they will appeal the jury's decision to convict him on two of the five charges he faced.
Judge Burke, before issuing his sentence, told Weinstein that he will be formally registered as a sex offender.
HARVEY WEINSTEIN
For his conviction on the first- degree count of criminal sexual act, Weinstein was given 20 years in prison plus five years of supervised release. On the other convicted charge, third-degree rape, he was given three years in prison.
The judge decided to make the sentences consecutive, rather than concurrent
after his team’s victory — turn- ing away as the athlete shakes hands with JAY-Z, 50.
Blue then gives James a big smile when it’s her turn to say hi and asks the NBA star for the memento.
“Okay, I got you,” James tells her. “You got school on Monday?”
As Blue nods her head, the NBA player tells her, “By the time you get out of school on
Monday, you’ll have it.” Earlier in the night, Blue
and JAY-Z were photographed enjoying the game, with the rapper putting his arms around his oldest child as they watched the players on the court.
The “Empire State of Mind” singer kept it casual with a gray sweatshirt, black pants, and white sneakers, accessorizing his outfit with a gold chain and Rhude baseball cap.

Meek Mill Sounds Off After Private Jet Is Searched In Miami Again
Since his release from prison in 2018, Meek Mill has blos- somed into an ardent propo- nent of criminal justice reform. In doing so, he’s gone to great lengths to not only rehabilitate his image, but help others avoid the pitfalls of our broken criminal justice system with the launch of the REFORM Al- liance. Despite his best efforts to evolve beyond his past, the Grammy-nominated artist is acutely aware that he’s still a black man in Trump’s Amer- ica, and because of that he be- lieves he’s still being unfairly targeted by the authorities.
While traveling on his pri-

vate jet over the weekend, the “Going Bad” rapper made a pit stop in Miami to refuel. And what should’ve been a quick delay ended up taking much
longer as security descended upon his plane and conducted an unsolicited search, which Meek documented on Insta- gram.
“How many times we gotta be searched being black, man?” he says in the clip. “I be telling them, ‘The least y’all could do is give us an explana- tion for being searched.’ Y’all already know we black, we be getting searched too much.”
He continues, “All this shit, all our bags and shit got laid out. We just landed in Miami to pick up food and gas and they making us take all our bags off.”
6ix9ine's Prison Release Date Has Been Set
 Tekashi 6ix9ine's lawyer was right.
The controversial rapper's legal rep, Lance Lazzaro, pre- dicted back in December that 6ix9ine would be finished serv- ing his 24-month prison sen- tence by the end of July, 2020. Turns out he had it almost to the day.
According to the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator, Daniel Hernandez will be released on Aug. 2, 2020. Lazzaro con- firmed to Complex via text mes-

sage that the date was correct.
In addition, a spokesperson from the Bureau of Prisons' Public Affairs department told Complex in an email that "[W]e can confirm, Inmate Hernan- dez has a projected release date of August 2, 2020."
Dawn Florio, another member of 6ix9ine's legal team, told Complex the thinking behind the date.
"The reason why he's getting released early is because he's the perfect model prisoner," she said.
