Kendrick Lamar Links Up With Nas Following pgLang Newspaper Launch
Former Fugees MC Pras Arrested For $150,000 Child Support Debt
MANHATTAN, NY – Pras appeared in a Manhattan court for a child support hearing on Monday (March 9). According to Page Six, the former Fugees MC reportedly owes Angela Severiano — his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his 9-year- old son Landon — roughly $125,000.
In January, the Hip Hop vet was mandated by a court order to pay $20,000 of the out- standing debt and provide evi- dence of payment. Although he brought a tracking number showing he had a friend send the money, he was ultimately unable to prove it.
“If I didn’t do it, I wouldn’t say it happened,” Pras said to

the judge to which the judge replied, “That’s not what I con- sider proof. You do not even know what day it was sent.”
Consequently, he was ar- rested immediately after the hearing for failure to make a
payment. The New York City Department of Corrections shows Pras paid his bail and was released the same day.
Following the hearing, Pras’ lawyer Samuel Feldman said, “What can I say? He says he made the payment but he didn’t have enough proof to sat- isfy the judge. Hopefully, some- body will send me further documentation and then maybe I’ll advance the case.”
Pras claimed he fell behind on the $4,800 monthly pay- ments after feds seized $74 mil- lion of his money for an alleged money laundering scheme re- lated to Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign. He denies all charges.
Nas provided Hip Hop fans with a little excitement via In- stagram on Sunday (March 8). The legendary MC posted a photo of himself alongside Kendrick Lamar, sparking speculation about a potential collaboration between the two lyricists.
The K. Dot and Nas meetup had something to do with Lamar’s recently launched pgLang company, which was unveiled on Thursday (March 5). In the photo, Nas is seen holding The pgLang Times newspaper.
Very little is known about Lamar and his longtime friend/collaborator Dave Free’s pgLang, but it’s being billed an “at service company.” The pgLang website currently features a video starring Baby Keem and Jorja Smith along with links to sold-out merchan- dise.
The company’s mission state-

ment says, “pgLang is multilin- gual. Our community speaks music, film, television, art, books, and podcasts — because sometimes, we have to use dif- ferent languages to get the point of our stories across. Stories that speak to many nations, many races, and many ages. That is why our writers, singers, direc- tors, musicians, and producers break formats when we build ideas and make them real for the curious.”

After Riverside County Reports
First Coronavirus Case
Despite the ever-growing concerns over the spread of coronavirus across the United States, Coachella is still ex- pected to go on as planned next month. However, that could change as the county where the event is being held reported its first case of the virus, TMZ reported over the weekend.
On Monday, the site "con- firmed agents for several acts booked for Coachella have been told the new dates are the consecutive weekends of Oct. 9 and Oct. 16." TMZ says an offi- cial announcement is likely to come after the fest has notified the performers' teams.
