Insider Claims ‘Braxton Family Values’ May Be Canceled
Cardi B Sued For Allegedly Attacking Woman, Spitting On Her, And Hurling Racial Slurs
Cardi B is being sued over an alleged brutal attack on a Los Angeles security guard, and the woman says it was so bad, the rapper spit on her, hit her in face and head, and hurled racial slurs at her while she was on the job.
In legal documents, ob- tained by The Blast, Cardi B is being sued by a woman named Emani Ellis, who says she was working as a security guard inside a building on Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills. In February of 2018, she says Cardi B attacked her while on the job, by "violently, unlaw- fully, intentionally, suddenly and maliciously striking her about the head, face, and body, placing (her) in great for her life and physical well-being, and legally causing her to sus- tain injuries and damages."
But, she claims during the fight, Cardi B, "spit on (her) and used multiple profanities
CARDI B
and racial slurs against (her) who is African-American.
In the lawsuit, the woman claims Cardi B's security guard also jumped into the sit- uation and she claims she was injured during the melee in- cluding injuries to her body, and 'shock and injury to her
nervous system.' Ellis claims she will now suffer from phys- ical injuries resulting in "per- manent disability."
Following the incident, Ellis claims Cardi B was able to "use her celebrity status to get her fired from her job as a se- curity guard."
The woman does not list ex- actly how much she is suing Cardi B for...but says it is over $25,000. She claims she will now have to endure, "future medical issues will require doctors, physicians, nurses, and hospital -- including med- ication MRI scan, x-rays etc."
Interestingly, it would seem there may be a video of the in- cident since it took place in a high-end building in Beverly Hills. But, the security guard claims at some point everyone was involved in 'wilful destruc- tion of evidence, namely hav- ing the recorded footage of the incident erased."
“Braxton Family Values” is said to be in jeopardy of being canceled, theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports.
Insiders tell the site: “It’s a strong possibility that the show will be canceled. Rat- ings have declined, [and] the sisters are not interested in what the network is offering in terms of a contract.”
The source continued: “Tamar Braxton is no longer under contract with them.”
The sisters have seemingly been embattled with WE tv since 2018, when all but Traci Braxton, refused to film until their contract nego- tiations were met.
Longtime fans are crushed to learn that their favorite show might be coming to an end.
“Please say it’s lies,” one person wrote, tagging Towanda Braxton.
“What a shock,” com- mented another.
