Welcome To Her World
may be jumping the gun
with what I’m about to suggest. But, in this new envi- ronment where women are becoming more vocal about no longer tolerating sexual harassment and unsolicited sexual advances (real or imagined), it may be time to create some new rules of en- gagement when it comes to male and female interactions in the workplace as well as on the dating scene.
For starters, if you’re a man of substantial or signifi- cant means, you may want to start allowing her to make the first move even if there’s a hint of mutual interest. For- get about what you think her body language is telling you. If she’s not grabbing you by the crotch, and saying some- thing along the lines of “let me get that,” it may be wise to act on the side of caution and assume that she doesn’t want any part of your body next to any part of hers.
I know that pretty much kills some of the cat and mouse flirtation that we once thought was part of the game of love. But, the reality is that, times have changed and the ball is completely in her court.
Misinterpreting what you once may have thought was a “come hither” look could cost you everything these days. Just ask actor Aziz Ansari. Last week, his name was raked through the coals after a young woman, who he be- lieved was all in on their sex- ual encounter, claimed the next day that she felt taken advantage of because she consumed too many drinks on their date.
While the #METOO movement has brought much needed attention to the predatory nature of a few powerful men, cases like Ansari’s show that there are also times when some women come forward, claiming vic-
timhood, as a way to reconcile their own poor decision-mak- ing. And there seems to be no concern about the serious consequences that arise when that line becomes blurred.
This is why a new rule- book is needed. The time when two adults could inter- act and allow things to progress naturally seems to have come to an end.
As it stands now for the average man, he not only needs a notarized consent form before taking things to the next level, the next morn- ing he may also want to record her stating that she hadn’t had a change of heart before they part ways. That way both parties are pro- tected.
Unfortunately, in an era that is becoming increasingly more politically correct and where uber feminism is at an all time high, this is another part of the new normal. You can either adjust to it or pre- pare for a court proceeding. Either way there’s no escap- ing the fact that, if you have a penis, you no longer have ac- cess to the driver’s seat.

Desensitized Americans
ust stop acting surprised about anything you see
or hear that is attributed to President Donald Trump.
After all – a president who uses four and five letter words more often than “please” and “Thank-you” ... who uses racial, gender, and lifestyle slurs as often as he says his own name; who doesn’t pay workers after they complete work at his own businesses; and who bashes Black, Brown, and Tan immigrants even though his mother was an immigrant and he is mar- ried to an immigrant, we should expect anything from him.
However, what happened to the so-called Ameri- can values and sense of common-sense? Unfortu- nately, we’ve grown used to parents killing their babies, children murdering their parents, children harming their friends, mass school shootings, do- mestic terrorist attacks, hate mongering, and just about everything you can imagine.
It’s called “American Desensitization” . . . sitting on the sidelines and watching our nation go to hell..
Stop being a by-stander nation... America. Because if we don’t stand for something, we will continue to fall for anything.
Make It Happen
mpowered Greet-
ings. Twenty eighteen is the year to make it happen. Make what happen, you might ask. Make whatever you have been wanting, wait- ing and hoping for to show up in your life, manifest this year. Now is the time to make it happen.
Todoso, youhavetobe aggressive and totally sold out to what you want to achieve. Get clear and concise about your endeavors, so that whatever undertakings you’re involved in, are centered around what you want to happen for you. This is not being selfish, but it’s being purposeful. From my per- spective of a Life and Busi- ness Success Coach, I’m going to share with you 3 specifics you need to have in place to make it happen.
For starters, make sure you have a distinct outlook of the dream you want to achieve. You’ve got to have a
sharp vision of where you are going. A blurred vision will hinder you from moving for- ward swiftly and without re- solve.
Not only should your vi- sion be simple and straight- forward, but your strategy has to precise. What are the methods or blueprint you will put in place to make it hap- pen?
Example: If you want to be the go-to stylist for hair ex- tensions, you’ll need to eval- uate what others in the industry are doing. Then de- termine what you need to do, that will set you apart from them. Will your prices be lower? Or maybe you’ll guar- antee customers to be in and out by a certain timeframe? In other words, highlight what’s different about your shop. This is the overall plan, so to speak.
Lastly, what’s the deliber- ate plan of action you are going to take. Map it out, the
same way you would if you were giving someone direc- tions, as to how to get from one place to another. What are the specific steps you are going to take to achieve that goal? What sequences of ac- tions are you going to put in place to get to the end result you desire.
Using example of being the go to stylist for hair exten- sions from above, you could advertise for 3 months, on largest radio station that has your target audience as lis- teners.
Whether you are an indi- vidual with personal dreams, entrepreneur with business goals or organizational leader with great expectations, if you are looking to make it happen this year, concentrate on your vision, strengthen your strat- egy and be tenacious about your tactics. Be flexible enough to make adjustments but firm enough to keep forg- ing ahead.
