RAY WILLIAMS
MR. JOHN ALBERT DANIELS, SR.
Mr. John Albert Daniels, Sr., affectionately known as “SUGAR BEAR,” “BIG JOHN” AND “BUBBA” of Tampa, passed away Sunday, Febru- ary 25, 2018. Homegoing Services will be conducted Saturday, March 3, at 11 a. m. at New Hope M. B. Church, 3005 E. Ellicott St., Reverend Larry J. Mouton, Jr., Pastor, with Reverend Bruce Bryant, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. John Daniels, Sr. was a native of Dawson, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for 58 years. He was educated in the public schools of Terrell County, GA. Mr. Daniels was a long-time member of New Hope M. B. Church and was employed with Cement Roof- ing and GRI Roofing Com- pany until retirement in 1998. John was the seventh of nine children.
John was preceded in death by: his parents, Joe and Rubie Lee (Dixon) Daniels; granddaughter, Kimora Daniels; brothers, Joe Cephas Daniels and William A. Daniels, Sr.; sister, Hilda Daniels; and nephews, Joseph Daniels, Randy Broner, Robby Broner, Paul Broner and Donald Daniels.
He leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory: wife of 52 years, Joann Daniels; chil- dren, John A. (Punkin) Daniels, Jr. and Mary L. Daniels; grandchildren, Mary Jaleela Cole, Nasheem Cole, Jonte’ Daniels, and Cedric Daniels; great grandchildren, Cedric, Jr., Nolen, K’Lynne, Katelyn, Kaydence and Kyn- dall; brothers, Eddie James Daniels (Beatrice) and Lester H. Daniels, Sr. (Thelma); sis- ters, Johnnie Broner, Ruby Mae Daniels and Thelma L. Daniels; aunts, Nannie Perry, Bessie Scott, Dora Daniels and Pearlie Mae Daniels; sis- ter-in-law, Josephine Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, March 2nd, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, and the family will re- ceive friends from 6-7 p. m. at which time reflections will be done.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday morning at 10:30 a. m.

After losing her mother at an early age, Mrs. Mount helped raise her younger four siblings. She was a consummate caregiver and nurturer, spanning four generations. She and her hus- band would make their home in West Tampa - Lincoln Gardens Subdivision. In this closely knit professional community, they joined three other siblings who purchased homes there.
The Cusseauxs were known for their large family weekend and holiday gatherings, and one of their largest birthday gather- ings was for their father, who lived to be 99 years old, four days shy of his 100th birthday.
Mrs. Mount leaves to cherish her memories: two loving chil- dren, Mr. Larry Cusseaux and Mrs. Ann Mount (Lawrence) Martin; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Maggie Cusseaux (102 years old), Mrs. Ann Cusseaux of Miami, FL and best friend-sister- in-law, Mrs. Ella N. Cusseaux; her loving grandchildren, Mr. Michael (Dena) Brown, Ms. Nicholyette Davis, Ms. Candace Cusseaux, Ms. Chantel Farley and Mr. Shaun Cusseaux; her great-grandchildren, Dykota Davis, Trinitee Anderson, Mon- tana Robinson, Quisean Primus Robinson, Quileis Margarette Robinson and Amani Farley; friends of the family, Mrs. Rutha Mae Harper, Ms. Lucy Ann Friend, Mrs. Lucille Franklin and Ms. Tiara Pierce; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, rel- atives and friends.
Mrs. Mount’s remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, March 2nd, at Ray Williams Fu- neral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave.

MS. CONNIE JOYCE DUNSTON
Ms. Connie Joyce Dunston of Valrico, passed away Thurs- day, February 22, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, March 3, at 11 a. m. at Highland Avenue Church of Christ, 2800 N. Highland Av- enue, Darryl Beasley, Pastor, with Dr. Nathaniel B. Hill, offi- ciating.
Ms. Connie Dunston was a native of Massillon, Ohio, and a resident of Tampa for many years. Her childhood was spent in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Hope Hull and Montgomery, Alabama.
At a young age, she met her first husband, Jimmie Murrell who worked for the railroad and shortly afterwards moved to Jacksonville, Florida fol- lowed by St Paul, Minnesota and settled down in Chicago, Illinois to ensure a stable edu- cation for their daughter, Caro- line Murrell. The union lasted for 10 years.
Later in life, she met and married Lee Dunston who pre- ceded her in death.
She loved taking care of children and did so at her home-ran daycare for years. Connie also loved her furry four-legged pets, the last being Montgomery a thoroughbred Chow who thought she was human and was treated as such.
Throughout her life she en- joyed a relationship with the Lord and was known for her standard phrase of “I’m going to ask the Lord to wrap his arms around you.”
In 1995, Connie joined her daughter and son-in-law in Florida where she worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital and with the School District of Hillsborough County. The highlight of her day would be anytime she spent with her great-grandchildren, often telling them how much she loved them and encouraged them to be the best they could be and to excel in school.
Connie was preceded in death by: her parents, Mildred and James Watts; her daughter, Marjorie Marie Laster; and son-in law, Tommy Curry.
Memories of her life will be cherished by: her daughter, Caroline Denise Murrell Curry; one sister, Gwen Laster; one granddaughter, Chloee’ Mur- rell; one grandson, Nicholas ReShun Curry (Sommer); three great grandsons, Vontre’ Kevon Curry, Nicholas ReShun Curry, Jr, and Malik Tommy Curry; and a host of other loving rela- tives and friends.

MRS. MARGARETTE CUSSEAUX MOUNT
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Margarette Cusseaux Mount of West Tampa, who passed away in her Lincoln Gardens home on Wednesday, February, 21, 2018, will be held Saturday, March 3rd, at 11 a. m. at Miracle Temple Church of God In Christ, 2001 N. Albany Avenue, Supt. Clethen Sutton, Pastor, with Rev. Allen L. Cusseaux, Sr., Officiant/Eulo- gist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Mount was born in Port Tampa, FL on March 19, 1930, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Annie) Cusseaux, Sr. She was married to the late Mr. Primus Mount for over 40 years until his earthly demise in January 1987. She accepted Christ and joined First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens one Easter Sunday.
She was preceded in death by: all of her siblings and their spouses, Mr. John (Ulease) Cusseaux, Jr., Mr. Edward (Mazie) Cusseaux, Mr. Samuel Cusseaux, Mr. Wright “Cherry Red” (Lillian) Cusseaux, Sr., Mrs. Evelyn Cusseaux (Daniel) Capel, Mr. Grover (Freddie Jean) Cusseaux, Sr., Mr. Leroy “Bip Bop” Cusseaux, Mrs. Marvie McCloud, Mr. Emanuel Cusseaux, and Ms. Maxine Cusseaux.
Mrs. Mount, to the many family members she raised, was affectionately called “Nana,” and to her many nieces, nephews, and close family friends, “Aunt
MR. LOUIS ALBERT MEADERS, JR.
Mr. Louis Albert Meaders, Jr. of Tampa passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be conducted Sat- urday, March 3rd, at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating.
Mr. Louis Albert Meaders, Jr. was a native of Staten Is- land, New York, and a resident of Tampa for 27 years. He was educated in the public schools of Staten Island, NY and was a graduate of Port Richmond High School. He furthered his education at John Jay Commu- nity College.
Mr. Meaders served in the United States Air Force and upon his honorable discharge he attended the New York Po- lice Academy. He then served the New York City Housing Au- thority for 22 years. After re- tirement he relocated to Tampa, Florida, where he con- tinued to serve and protect as a Hillsborough County Deputy Sheriff, retiring after 14 years.
His favorite pastime was traveling. He loved taking pic- tures and was known to brighten up everyone’s life with his bright smile. Mr. Meaders was generous and would help anyone at anytime with any- thing. He truly served and pro- tected his community.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Yvette Cress (Clifton) of Newport News, Virginia and Latifa Ben- son (Osas) of Staten Island, NY; one son, Schamarr Mead- ers (Yuko) of Brooklyn, NY; three granddaughters, Keira Cress, Nia Benson and Isoken Benson; three grandsons, Schamarr Meaders, Brazil Meaders and Osagie Benson; brothers, Daniel Meaders, Thomas Meaders and John Meaders; sister, Deborah Meaders Antonella; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
