Floyd Mayweather Promotional Company Files $120M Lawsuit Over Logan Paul Fight Venue
FLOYD MAYWEATHER AND JAKE PAUL
Mayweather Promotions is suing PAC Entertainment Worldwide for at least $122.6 million in damages, claiming that the company failed to de- liver on a "prescribed payment schedule" regarding plans to host Floyd Mayweather's upcoming boxing exhibition match against Logan Paul in Dubai.
The lawsuit claims that PAC owed Mayweather Pro- motions $110 million on a pay- ment schedule. The first payment of $30 million was reportedly due on March 25, but that allegedly did not ar- rive.
Mayweather Promotions says that missed payment al- lows the promotional company to back out of the deal while si- multaneously mandating that PAC pay the full $110 million.
Attorney For Deshaun Watson Accusers Seeking Settlement?
DESHAUN WATSON
Despite statements to the contrary, it appears there may be some willingness on the part of the attorneys for De- shaun Watson’s accusers to settle the outstanding cases.
A member of the legal team representing Watson’s accusers reached out to Wat- son’s legal team to discuss “working things out.” This comes despite denials from the accusers’ lead attorney, Tony Buzbee, who said there have been no attempts to set- tle any of the lawsuits.
Buzbee also told ESPN that he was “the only one at this firm who has the author- ity to discuss settlement.”

    Moment On Live TV
  JALEN ROSE AND CHRIS WEBBER
Chris Webber and Jalen Rose have had a tu- multuous relationship over the years, but the two shared a touching moment on live television Sunday after Web- ber was announced as a member of the 2021 Hall of Fame class.
During an appearance on ESPN, an emotional Web- ber discussed how much it means to him to be elected to the Hall of Fame after so many years of not being voted in. Rose, who was in studio for ESPN, congratulated Webber and told him, “I love you, my brother.” Web- ber appeared to fight back tears.
The moment was signifi- cant because Webber and Rose grew up together in De- troit. They then both at- tended college at Michigan and were part of “The Fab Five.” Rose and Webber
were not on good terms sev- eral years ago, as they traded some pretty intense shots over a documentary about their Wolverines team.
It took Webber several years to make the Hall of Fame, and many believe he was snubbed for so long be- cause of his involvement in the NCAA scandal with Ed Martin at Michigan. Web- ber was estranged from Michigan and his former teammates for quite some time, and Rose spoke out in favor of him reconciling with the school back in 2018.
Webber also mentioned Rose’s mother during Sun- day’s segment. Rose’s mother, Jeanne, died earlier this year. Rose gave an emo- tional tribute to her on TV re- cently for Mother’s Day. Webber knew Rose’s mother from when he and Rose were childhood friends.
