BOZA HARMON
MR. JOHN PHILLIP (‘BUBBA’) BRAMLETTE, JR.
Mr. John Phillip (a.k.a Bubba) Bramlette, Jr., age 91, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020. John was born August 11, 1929 in Nashville, TN to John Phillip Bramlette, Sr. and Belma Senora Thomas Bramlette. John was the only son of their five children. Mr. Bramlette attended school in Nashville, TN.
In 1954, John enlisted into the United States Army as a Pri- vate First Class. He served until 1957 and received an Honorable discharge. He was an extraordi- nary brick mason. You could al- ways find him in the yard with his friends talking about laying bricks. Even in the nursing care facility they recall him always waking up and saying he had to be to work at 4 A. M. John was a perfectionist about his work be- cause he loved what he did. Most of all he had such a loving and caring spirit that will truly be missed.
On Thursday September 3, 2020, John P. ‘Bubba’ Bramlette, Jr. was called home to be with the LORD at the age of 91 years. John Bramlette is reunited in Heaven with his wife, Nellie Bramlette; parents, John Phillip and Belma Senora Bramlette; sisters, Patricia Boyer and Eve- lyn Kelker; niece, Tracy Sargent.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished by: his loving sis- ters, Betty Anderson and Jean Bramlette, both of Chicago, IL; son, Antonio Pringle, Sr. of Tampa, FL; two stepsons, James Ripley of Tampa, FL and Lamar Ripley (Sherry) of Syracuse, NY; seven grandchildren, Antonio Pringle, Jr., Toni Pringle, Sydney Pringle Matthews, Dina DeS- ousa, Cory Ripley, Stefan Ripley, and Tamika Ripley; great-grand- son, Jonas Matthews; his DE- VOTED caregiver and ‘like a daughter,’ Sheila Pressley; a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and cousins; two special friends, Dorothy Davenport and Wendell Thomas as well as many other friends.
A visitation for John will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020, from 10 A. M. to 11:45 A. M. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa Florida.
A Graveside Service will occur Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 12 P. M. in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
