 The City of Tampa Com- munity Resource Fair will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Young Mid- dle Magnet School, 1807 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL 33610.
There will be a large array of resources to help citizens learn how to rent or buy a
home, get a job, learn a trade, access services, reduce bills, and receive valuable in- formation on improving health.
To pre-register for the event, please visit tam- pagov.net/HCD. You may also register on the day of the event at Young Middle Mag- net School.
An undercover sting has landed 17 people in Pinellas County in jail. The sting took place over a two-day period.
According to po- lice, the Pinellas County Economic Crimes Unit, along with several other agencies, conducted the sting and ar- rested the unli- censed contractors.
The 17 suspects are facing a com- bined 38 charges. The charges include unlicensed specialty

  Women’s Hall Of Fame Accepting Nominations
The Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women is currently accepting nominations for the 2020 Women’s Hall Of Fame. The deadline to make a nomina- tion is Monday, November 4, 2019, at 5 p.m.
The Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women was created in 2011 to honor and celebrate the achievements of women in Hillsborough County who have made significant contri- butions in areas such as busi- ness, education, philanthropy, the military, and public service to improve the lives of residents in Hills- borough County.
Since its inception, the or- ganization has recognized and honored 33 notable women through induction into the Women’s Hall of Fame.
All Women’s Hall of Fame inductees are permanently recognized with a plaque dis- played at the Tampa Conven- tion Center.
