Kevin Durant Out Two Weeks With Rib Injury
KEVIN DURANT
The Golden State Warriors are dropping like flies.
As if being without Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, weren’t already enough, now Kevin Durant is banged up.
The Warriors announced on Friday that Durant will miss two weeks due to a rib in- jury. An MRI revealed an in- complete rib cartilage fracture.
Durant said he got hurt during Sunday’s game against Minnesota and he was sore. Then in Wednesday’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers, he said he felt discomfort when he stretched to contest a shot. Du- rant continued to play through the injury but decided to get examined after feeling more soreness/stiffness.
Clyde Drexler Becomes BIG3’s Commissioner
CLYDE DREXLER
Basketball legend Clyde Drexler has stepped in to re- place Ice Cube as the com- missioner of the rapper's BIG3 league.
The rap star and actor briefly filled the spot after fir- ing Roger Mason, Jr. earlier this year, but now he has landed a big deal after inviting 10-time NBA All-Star Drexler to join the team.
The retired sportsman, who was a coach of one of the teams in the league last year has signed a three-year deal to be the new commissioner.
"As Commissioner he will help lead the BIG3's basketball operations as well as executing the league’s long-term strategy on all fronts," a spokesman for the league said in a statement.
Ice Cube adds, "Clyde is a consummate professional, revered businessman, and in- disputably one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball.

Be Closer To Owning
Stake In NFL Team
The NFL's Carolina Pan- thers organization went up for sale after being investi- gated by the NFL for work- place misconduct.
The allegations would lead to the owner having to remove himself completely from the conversation. Back in December, Sean “Diddy” Combs posted he was interested in buying the Carolina Panthers, with Golden State Warrior star, Stephen Curry saying that he wanted in? Well, it could actually happen, as the high- profile pair may get stakes in a prospective ownership group looking to purchase the NFL team.
That group is being led by Michael Rubin, an e-com- merce billionaire who filed formal notices last Monday to the NFL and to the bank handling the sale of the Pan- thers on behalf of current owner and team founder Jerry Richardson.
Rubin is reportedly looking to strengthen his bid by creating a diverse group of partners, including Diddy and Curry and Joseph Tsai-- co-founder of Chinese web giant Al- ibaba.
Diddy further stated that among his first acts as
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Stephen Curry, a North Car- olina resident are huge Car- olina Panther fans, and could be closer to being stake holders in the purchase of the team, with majority stakeholders Michael Rubin and China’s Joseph Tsai.
owner would be to sign free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
“There are no majority African American NFL own- ers,” Diddy said at the time. “Let’s make history.”
Much is known about the NBA MVP Curry, who is a North Carolina resident and his love for the Carolina Pan- thers team.
Rubin who runs online sports retail giant Fanatics, owns stakes in multiple sports organizations, which include the NBA’s Philadel- phia 76ers, NHL’s New Jer- sey Devils and the Premier League’s Crystal Palace.
With that being said, this elite group is more than ca- pable of purchasing the or- ganization.
Report On Instagram
Former NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis re- sponded via Instagram on Saturday to a report that he was arrested on drug charges last month.
This past week, it was re- ported by a television news station in Baltimore that Davis was arrested at a hotel with a large amount of mari- juana. Nearly $100,000 in cash was also present.
On Saturday, Davis posted a video to his Insta- gram account of himself on an airplane sitting next to brief- case full of cash. He urged the public to not believe every- thing on the internet and said he will have his day in court. Be warned as Davis used

some explicit language. Davis spent nine seasons in the NBA and most recently played with the Clippers in 2015. He was selected No. 35 overall in the 2007 NBA Draft
out of LSU.
Davis was involved in an-
other incident at a hotel in 2013. He was not arrested as a result of that altercation.
